This movie literally aches my heart from the very first minute to the rolling credits. Looking back at the era it was released, creating a zombie film of this caliber and emotional depth was absolutely groundbreaking.
No matter how many times I revisit it, the tears never fail to fall at the exact same scenes. I don't even know why it still has such a chokehold on my emotions after all these years, but the impact is undeniable. The cinematography, the tension, and the raw human emotions make it a timeless classic.
