This could be one of the reasons Mi Sook thought the killer wouldn't be caught. I mean ML's grandfather is shown to be influential. I know you can check the day of arrival but because Mi Sook is too young she might not have known of that.

ML said his father had no emotional attachment to ML. ML was killed the same way Beom Ryung which is different from the way others are killed (like him being the only other male being killed all others are women).
