I could only give this a 1, the main lead was over the top beyond mean, and even though a below comment suggests there are no triangles, it's a lie, the main female chef is passively after the main lead, as with the CEO going after our female lead, very obvious, it's very offensive, unneeded and distracting.
I all honesty, at the end of the 1st episode im not sure how, except that she has a real kind side to her, hes just a true tyrant,100% mean towards her, and to the extreme, personally, I'm only continuing to watch it as I'm truly curious about how they work them together, from other dramas, her as an actress is very feisty, looking forward to seeing that in her, have already seen it at the crosswalk.
Wow, this main lead, anyone with me scratching their heads wondering on how or why or female lead would fall in love with him? Anybody with sense would stay away from just for fear of him. I'm not a woman, and I would be saying take your job and shove it, he's just mean, nasty mean, not a good boss to have for sure. Yikes, and I'm just at the end of the 1st episode. O_O
I really liked seeing g the support our main lead had, the mistress, and triangles made a trauma into a trashy soap, but I'm glad they tried to keep the trauma true to form as possible. I liked the chemistry between our main leads. This story hit a lil close to home, 3 hrs away, Elliott Lake, Ontario, Canada, a mall collapsed with car parking on top where it collapsed, multiple lives lost. I was really surprised with Yoon Se Ah, she has always played the nasty b, I was actually uncomfortable with her acting here, I was constantly uptight throughout the whole story waiting for the other shoe to drop, but was a breath of real fresh air to see her in a good way, shows she does have a nice side to her. Hope so see her in better roles like here, that being said, other than being in a bad role as being a mistress.
Only reason I could come up with was to keep our heroine and us viewer's in suspense a little, was pretty dumb…
A very excellent explanation, I've seen it before a few times, I wonder if that's why they do it, but then why have the scene anyway? Do be honest, for me the story behind our main lead, and our female lead, I loved her in I'm not a robot, here too she shows a lot of passion in her acting, those 2 were the only redeeming points to the story for me.
ok someone please explain to me why they didnt show his face at the end?? wasnt he available??
Only reason I could come up with was to keep our heroine and us viewer's in suspense a little, was pretty dumb by my most humble opinion, I really hate when writers do this, it's so stupid.
The kiss with the 2nd/main lead's, this was so dropped, then I'm scrolling down in Viki and see this trashy writer marries the buttwipe off with the main lead, this writer is sickeningly disgusting, no integrity at all.
I loved the drama, but Ban Do pissed me off. I did warm up to him eventually, but some things he said to his wife…
Love that you're so one-sided, I guess sincerity and hard work means nothing to you. As you mentioned about men like that, women like her make me cring and just wanna stay away from for fear of her constant negativity rubbing off on me. It's a two way street, takes 2 to tangle. Nothing he could have done was good for her, he even asked why the divorce in the 10th or 11th episode where her mother comes out surprising them. He had his faults, but she married him, chose to be a housewife, and had a child with him, oh, did I mention they were married for something like 14 year or so? Because she couldn't call a cab, she was incapable, she wants a divorce because of him not bringing her to her mother? Where were her very own fingers and legs and feet. She was hating him by the time their anniversary came around, as someone above said, she was a pathetic wife, not just wife, but a pathetic woman, if we men ever treated a woman the way she was physically violent to him, we'd be jailed. No, she was totally spun, he must have had been doing something right just to put up with her, Just my most humble opinion and take in their situation, I'm not pro male but I see woman are saying the same thing about her.
When Jin Joo gave birth, she was crying holding her mom’s picture because she wasn’t there for her. I was…
To answer your question, I believe she passed after the baby, even though we don't see Sep Jin in any scenes with her mum, from what I gathered anyway, but she's definitely dead, unfortunately.
Unfortunately we, as humans tend to lay blame instead of taking responsibility, if I'm to blame I'm responsible.…
Just finished it, so glad it was only 12 episodes, had it been longer we would have had to endure an extra 4 episodes of triangles, it had a good ending I thought, just didn't like the triangles, but like how they truly never wavered, thankfully because of See Jin, he was the one bringing them back again, I think it could have been much better without the triangles. The several very confusing time slips as well caused major points loss as well, could only give it a 5.
As to the comment by Linus below, not sure where they were born or from what planet they came from, and I'm not being pro male, but in his defense he's trying his best, he's being sincere, and all she's doing is being negative, the writer hit it on the nail by bringing up taking things for granted, and becoming too comfortable, and as much as they both needed to go back to wake up to reality, I place more of the blame not on her, but her negative and physical attitude, it wasn't until they were back in their 20's and she started missing Seo Jin before she started to wake up, him being mean and cruel as Linus said was his hurt feelings coming out, everything he did and said were all part of his defensive mechanism, she'd been hurtful towards him for how long? He even said to her he was always sincere towards her, I have to agree with Megadalia, she was a pathetic wife that had to learn through her hurtful and negative attitude it not got to be so negative, my motto is, always treat others how you want to be treated. He had his faults, but she just wasn't accepting, instead she was playing the blame game blaming everything on him, it's a two-way street.
I'm so glad to see how the writer wrote this in that their feelings truly never wavered, and whatever feelings there might have been were nipped in the bud, unlike Paradise Farm and um, Emergency Couple, the ending in EC disgusted me in that she still had feelings, lingering though they MAY have been, for me it wasn't a good ending, this one there was only slight hugging with the 2nd leads, nothing serious. The main female lead played the same as in Fated to Love you, and I was disgusted by her role there as well, as I said she shows her real self maybe, too well? This was an almost perfect parallel to Cunning Single Lady, you'd think they were twins the 2 main female roles, both mallets were sincere in their careers and relationships, in both cases the wife kicked them out and had to realize how good they truly had it, only difference being, the triangles weren't so obsessive or disgusting, and this female wasn't as petty or as hateful as in CSL . A much better drama compared with CSL.

Unfortunately we, as humans tend to lay blame instead of taking responsibility, if I'm to blame I'm responsible. This one sounds very similar to Cunning Single Lady, in that she, and pretty must most of the viewer's, solely blamed the male lead, I'm not pro male, I lay blame where it should be, but was he to blame? No, he made mistakes but she pushed him out, not good, if you only continue to look at the negatives, hate starts to grow, and resentment, gotta look at the positives. Read below comment by Linus, she totally sided with the wife and only looked at his faults, ilk start watching it now,am fearful they end up with someone different like like one I'd seen a few years ago where she ends up with someone different at the very end, was disgusted with the ending.
Got really draggy, and didn't like how they waited for the end of the drama before Detective Im let's her go, too much like Paradise Farm in that they wait till the last episode to break up the 2nd lead/main lead relationship, not good in my books.
Great storyline, but didn't like how it would bounce in time, back n forth, so many times, had it not been for that I'd have given it an 8 or 9, I was left confused resulting in a migraine watching it, could only give it a 6 for that reason, otherwise a great drama.
