I did like rookie historian, but I'm a softy at heart. Happy or at least fitting ending is a must almost. Not really ancient perse, still going on today, but the demeaning view of woman (still going on). Did like the black plague bit it connected for me with the current pandemic.

Also like Bloody Romance. Really good griping story with a strong woman rising up.

You might have noticed I like the strong female lead kinda drama, not always very factual maybe but feels good

For me the story of Ming Lan was the best i've seen. I do understand that is
it isn't in the top popular list because with seventy something episodes it is quite a sit in, but sooo worth it. I never felt bored, or situations draggy. And the story is great.

So it should get better? The onesided love bit is so cringe worthy. Beside that it's sometimes just to slapsticky for my taste. For example the bikeride in ep 4 where she jumps on the back of his bike. Dont know it's often just to over the top and too obvious. Maybe because i'm a bit older that I cant relate or something anymore but I dropped it for now (btw do like the base storyline)
