i get why people say they dont like the dialogues but i feel like its a good representation of how two foreigners who only have one language in common would speak, theres bound to be some awkwardness in language

what is with her hair TT, im literally beyond the point of critiquing this. its a wattpad story that was write by a 14 yr old i believe, the plot is a mess, the characters are just wow, i need more aya coded characters what is with the rest of them sighh. they really did not eat with trying to translate this onto screen with context

lol its over lowk thought it was gonna be longer, super salty about jun seon tho. it was an okay watch had enough shock factor for me to finish. story couldve been more interesting and actors couldve been utilised better. really good acting tho

overall i liked this one better than the kr one in terms of character growth and the tweaks in plotline, but the revenge just wasn't that satisfying

did it really take them all 35 episodes to reveal that they went to college together, sigh

this will forever be one of my favs. does it have its flaws? yes definitely. (the car scene with qiu ying and zhao yang will never ever sit right with me).

but something i also love abt this show is that the story portrayed two people trying to achieve their dreams and did it pretty well for a chinese e-sports themed rom com (trust me check the others ones out this will at least come in 2nd place, go go squid, yes ik her outfits but please it was a good one).
i really like how the character arcs of all everyone is explored at least to a certain extent. the cliches, the over the top evil villain, and ofc the 'valuation' of a woman being her vulnerability to public perception will not sit well with everyone, but this is a 2018 cdrama so yk.

i still love that this show gets this much discourse though, love to see the good and the bad, okay i have rambled on for long enough byee

haha it has its own charm ig, i still enjoyed amnse sooo much even w the over the top acting. but also good acting is just the cherry on top for a show (seriously recommended seducing draka palma, rabin and angela and the entire cast are doing a great job). also i am indian so ik a thing or two abt bad soap opera acting haha (i dont recommend hindi serials guys)

while they didnt come out and say it, i think sang wol saying that rosa always wanted a family and is why she got married basically seals the deal.
