There is nothing wrong being a fan of Xiao Zhan, he is a great actor/artist. The issue becomes when those fans hold him so high on a pedestal that if someone has an opinion about him that criticizes any part of his acting or other abilities they get ridiculed and stepped on by them. With that said, 99% of his fans are not like this it's just the 1% that will tear anyone down.

No actor/artist is perfect. Even though he is one of the best actors/artist in my opinion, people can have differing thoughts.

It's possible I'm being ignorant about this stuff I'll try to look into it more and give a better response.

I thought The Wolf has been complete for a long time now? Well if that isn't the case than it's my mistake.

I didn't want to say it but the dramas being most effected are with Xiao Zhan, if you look at his drama The Wolf it was just at 8.7 a day ago now it's 8.0. I like Xiao Zhan and I think he's a very good actor but I think his die hard fans have been brigading his dramas to boost ratings.

I think Sky Castle was 8.8 now its 8.9 there's a few others but I'll have to look more.

That being said I do think people are rating this low on purpose too but the higher rating ones are out numbering the low ratings.

Die hard fans are manipulating the ratings by making a bunch of accounts rating this 10 and rating everything close to it 1 or 0. That's why you see such a big fall with this and every other top drama is either staying the same or getting a slight boost.

yea it went a bit off the rails, I think the biggest issue I had with this drama besides characters being weak (when story wise they should have been strong) is the editing. It was so bad in some episodes it messed with the flow. That being said I'd still give this drama like an 8.4 probably, maybe slightly lower.

I have a question before I dive into this drama, is the character played by Zoey Meng good or bad? I mean good or evil I guess. She always plays bordline evil characters.

This drama was a 10 for me for a long time because of the unique characters like Park Sae ro yi and Jo yi seo but, they changed way to much after Jo yi seo fell in love with him.
I would have loved to see Jo Yi Seo continue her sociopath tendancies and PSRY have social issues throughout the whole drama. When all of that ended I gotta be honest it started to become boring, there was no POP anymore as there was then. I still have to give this a 9 because it was generally a good story with some interesting characters at times, and the music was top notch.

The scene at the end with her at the edge of the desert alone made me super emotional, such a innocent, adventurous girl only wanting the best for everyone.
I assume this will be an unpopular take but, I couldn't stand Gu Jian. Everything that happened to him he did to himself and his "love" for Xiao Feng was not attractive at all. Plus that whole Gu Jian kidnap arc at the end was just evil.
It actually got to the point where I felt bad for Li Cheng Yin, besides Xiao Feng I think he for sure is the most pitiful. He loved Xiao Feng so much but he had pressures from everywhere. I really feel like if he could have ran away with Xiao Feng he would have in a heart beat but he knew what the Li Empire would do regardless if he stayed or left.
That being said I liked this drama a lot. I liked the main leads acting especially Peng Xiao Ren as Xiao Feng. She knew how to be playful, humorous, and sad/serious perfectly. The music was also very good. I give this 9.5/10
