It just feels like the classic 'break up for no reason' trope... quite disappointing.
I beg to differ. Mi Joo actually has a good reason for thinking about breaking up with Seon Gyeom. Her interaction with his dad made her question her self-worth. Whenever she encounters the dad, the man never misses a chance to belittle and insult her (we know she's strong and she can handle herself but we all have limits) At the same time, she learned from SG's sister that the dad actually hired someone to spy them (imagine having to be conscious all the time because you know you're being followed) All of that piled up thus she ended having a breakdown after the confrontation with the dad. For some of us viewers MJ considering to break up with SG may seem shallow but let's not forget that she grew up all alone. Before she met May, she has no one but herself so she values herself the most. In her mind, is her relationship with SG still worth pursuing at the expense of her losing dignity and self-respect?
Anyway, I don't think they will formally breakup judging from the next ep preview , maybe she's gonna ask for some space.

I didn't care much about Dan ah and Yeong Hwa's pairing but ever since Yeong Hwa fired at Dan Ah, this pairing got me hook. The tension between the two is just oozing jskssksj and now that kiss at the end of episode 11 got me screaming. I just love it when the girl is the one who initiates the kiss. Also the symbolism of the pencil falling towards the pen, that was brilliant.

Back to our main couple Gyeomi, gosh their relationship couldn't get any cuter uwu I love how Sun Gyeom is much more open and care free. I love how playful he gets with Mi Joo. Screw his dad, I believe our Gyeomi can overcome him. I really hope they wouldn't break up cuz that would be disappointing tbh. I'm tired of drama couples breaking up instead of trying to resolve the issue first.

When Seon Gyeom said "I'm excited to be running with you" to Mi Joo, my heart fluttered and I had butterflies in my stomach. It wasn't even a kissing scene nor a confession scene but that line subtly says that he likes Mi Joo or at least enjoys her company. It's just so nice to watch him do something he loves with Mi Joo. Episode 6 was just a good episode, you see both of them learning & understanding each other, and letting each other get a glimpse of their lives

So far I'm liking this drama. The way the characters are written is just refreshing. They're all straightforward and quite eccentric especially Seon Gyeom. He's not your usual flower boy, arrogant nor domineering ml. He's awkward and can't take social cues nor jokes but he's not necessarily anti-social or unfriendly. At the same time, he's a man of principles. I like that he's aware of how privileged he is and uses this privilege to help other people. I also like the dialogue and themes that they somehow tackled such as sexism in the entertainment industry, the hierarchy system, bullying and assault. Through Seon Gyeom and Mi Joo's characters, the usual opinions on these matters are being challenged.

I'm down to ep 18 yet but basic story is good and refreshing (though a bit unreal and draggy) but 2nd pairing…
I couldn’t agree more. I never shipped them to begin with. I didn’t find any redeeming qualities from Lu Qingwu. Her relationship with Si Qi isn’t convincing. I don’t understand how Si Qi fell for her tbh.

Though this drama is full of cliches, I still enjoyed watching it. Wen Bing's character is actually refreshing and I really love how Darren Chen embodied his character. Although Wen Bing can be quite mischievous and arrogant, I didn't find him annoying. I'm actually laughing at his two faced personality because he actually admits it to San Tian. Usually this kind of character would annoy me but Darren Chen brought out something that made me like Wen Bing. . Also his expressions were on point. His perpetual smirk and antics were charming. As for Sebrina Chen, she did an excellent job on playing a character who's pretending to be a boy. Her acting was natural and she wasn't trying hard to be a guy. I actually fell in love with San Tian's character. Sebrina and Darren have a good chemistry! I like that the writers built Wen Bing and San Tian's friendship before their relationship. Anway, I recommend this drama if you're looking for something light and funny.

Yan Ke and Yi Fan were cute but I fell in love with Bai Yuze and Ding Ming. Their chemistry is off the charts. I liked how natural their scenes are. Wish we had more screen time for this pair. Heck I want a season two for those two because they deserve a story of their own

Title Be with You Spoiler
I freaking hate how hesitant she is. I get that she just wants to be careful, but her hesitation is getting too…
Hmmm I understand that her actions can be annoying to some but remember that Qi Nian didn't have a good impression on men/ love because of that senior back in her high school days (the guy confessed then the next day he's with another girl). At the same time, Qi Nian's naive when it comes to love and is quite slow when it comes to realizing other people's feelings. She didn't realize Si Qi liked her until his cousin told her that he likes her. If she didn't catch on with Si Qi's feelings how much more with Yan Xin who isn't really expressive till his sudden confession.

Yes, I loved this as well. She has every reason to doubt considering his past behavior. If anything, his sudden…
Even me, I’m bewildered with Yan Xin’s sudden romantic gestures jsjsjk It’s cute but I’m not use to it lol

She is an awesome realistic heroine. I loved that about her. She made me lol when she was questioning his motives…
Yesss!! I fell in love with Qi Nian. She’s not the usual heads over heels for the guy kind of girl. Like yeah she’s chasing him but then she knows her limits as well. The questioning of motives is the highlight of the episode for me ?I don’t recall any other FL who questioned the ML like that hahaha. She’s so precious uwu. Also, even Yan Xin is somehow realistic as well. Even if Qi Nian is straightforward with her feelings, he didn’t trust her easily.

I like that when Yan Xin finally asked Qi Nian to date him, Qi Nian didn’t accept his proposal right away. Usually in dramas where the girl chases the guy, when the guy finally confessed and ask the girl to date, the girl will say yes right away. It’s good that Qi Nian showed reservations given that she didn’t have a good impression on love. Also, all this time in her eyes Yan Xin wasn’t clear with his intentions (tho Yan Xin confessed before but Qi Nian was pretty drunk and it was noisy). What I love about this couple is that they always confirm each other’s feelings before giving themselves away and just blindly liking each other
