Well the typical bs .. FL spending time with another guy.. clueless about his "feelings", getting really close etc.. BUT ( read carefully )... BUT ML, if there is a 2FL, set boundaries with 2FL immediately.. no friends, nothing.. he is mean and strict. While our typical FL loves the 'attention'... (ehmm yeah.. just 'friends' excuse)

What I read from your post... It's the typical c-kdrama.. ML being a simp.. only the FL exists for him, while FL has her "options".. like you said " jealousy plot".. that alone says it all..

You know its no problem to have a "jealousy plot".. which nowadays or the last 5-6 years is only in the expense of the ML. But the more important thing is... HOW does the FL deal with it... --> just "friends" excuse / he wants to get into my pants.. we are just friends ... OR like 98% of male leads do it ( are written ) !?

Really curious about this kdrama ( because of high ratings ).
I want to start watching it, but first I have one or two simple questions. 🧐

1. Is the ML a simp? 😓
2. Does FL spend a LOT of time with another guy ( 2ML ) "friends bullsh*t" and ML does NOT spend the same amount of time with a 2FL. 🙄

Exactly, but people always find another excuse to justify it if it's the female lead. If the male lead did the same, hell would freeze. The target audience is biased for a reason.

That's the problem. In my opinion, the writers... love to portray the second female lead character as a bish, BUT then again.. they love to show the male leads 1st or 2nd in a good way.

I hate that; it's not realistic, but they don't care.. because the target audience dictates it. 🙄

Women can also be an amazing second lead, but they love to portray only 2nd male characters in a good way and second female leads as bishes.. 😓

It didn't work out. The female lead was terrible, except for the last two episodes. She should have apologized to ML for her actions.

At least ML showed 2FL her boundaries, while FL ... well .. yeah exactly..

It's mind-blowing how people justify female leads' behavior with 2MLs. She knew the guy's intentions, yet she played around him.However, when the ML looked or smiled at another woman, she turned into a total witch.This is the typical female lead privilege. 👍

You say so, but that never happens. It's really rare, probably only one in fifty.
People love to show sympathy for the FL and have excuses for her, but when it comes to the ML... 🤫

I call it the "female lead priviledge" .. FL can do whatever she wants, and MLs are not the slightest bit realistic. Now you can argue " but its a romcom " ..Yet I am still waiting for this kinda k/cdrama with reversed roles..

Don't get me wrong, I hate this nonsense as much as I hated the abusive and cold ML characters from 2010 to 2018. But this approach just isn't working either.

Can we please have a more realistic ML for once, like we always get a more realistic FL? Pardon my language, but where the fu*k can you find a guy like him? Exactly. But a FL like her, you can find everywhere.
