Yes, FL was metally broken, so was ML.. He also had a trauma, HIS own brother tried to kill him too!
But FL gets angry at him for something she also kept from him.

It's definitely worth watching. I nag a lot when I like a show, so you'll get a little frustrated here and there, but not 'lakorn' level.. or the typical chaebol drama. 👍

These writers probably never watch other dramas. I guess they think this is something unique when pretty much every drama has these stupid tropes.🤭 It's the same with cdramas.

PS: tbh I wished there were more male screenwriters, probably 90% are female screenswriters, like most directors are male..

I was physically abused as a child until my late teens ( and not just a slap ), for me it ended in violence. That's probably why I don't understand why she never does anything about it ( she isnt even a teen, but an adult ! ). Everyone deals with the situation differently. I snapped and hit my mother, a shocking moment, it might be wrong, but it was liberating at the time. I am sure many have been abused by their parents.

Probably one of the reasons why I'm so vocal about this kind of abuse and the downplaying of it by writers. They never show the kind of behavior I had. It is always the one where the victim has to be the good one, "non-violent" and forgiving.

When you consider my religion and where I came from, it is even more unimaginable what I did, but it was my only way out, my only escape.
And I have to admit that since then I have always had this anger issue when it comes to parental abuse and how they portray it in dramas, especially how they make the victim deal with it. Putting parents on a pedestal no matter how bad they are.

All that said, it didnt turn me into DUMB person.. 🤭

I just finished episode 4, but still can't connect with the FL... I don't hate her, but I don't like her either. Something feels off to me.. 😳
ML on the other hand is amazing, which makes him extremely unrealistic and just a tool for FLs revenge, which was probably the writers intention.. similar to "The Glory" ..
Yet, i still enjoy this drama A LOT ! 🤭

Why does she even care about it? It has nothing to do with their plan. He may or may not have pushed him. Yet there is another secret she is keeping from him. She has a meeting with the older brother. 🫠

She even believes Se Hyeok right away when he tells her that ML pushed the older brother out of the boat. I thought this would be different, but everything points in one direction. FL being *naive...believing everyone but ML.

So I was right in my assumptions? 🫠
Well, this is an easy and lazy way of writing to solve problems, by making the ML just a tool that agrees with everything, just for the sake of the FL.
Kinda makes him unrealistic, especially a man in his position with extremely high value... but hey it's a drama, one can dream. 🤭
Still, I am enjoying it so far. Just my typical fear of everything going down the pipe.

Episode 4 and FL already has secrets... I don't like it...you both agreed to go through this together, so why keep secrets from ML? She should have told him immediately what his mother told her.
So both can take steps accordingly. 😞

I can see it already happing.. + she will probably meet ML's older brother a lot and keep even more secrets from him... 🫠

give it a try, i hated the first episode.. but episode 2 was already amazing.. ( atm at epi 4 )
