I agree.. Furthermore it was unbearable to see his double standards. To some extent, he also had narcissistic character traits. 🙄 I also had my problems with the ML at first, but at least he had a good character development.
You will be disappointed if you are here for the "Romance"! Imho MDL should remove "romance" as a genre from this drama and add "romance" as a tag.
'Xin Zheng' (ML's father) and 'Li Quan' are both quite crappy characters. Until the end I could not start to like them at all... all in all a pretty boring drama, but 'Zhao Lu Si' still delivered. 👍

Despite the last 2 episodes... the drama was really good overall... but the typical misunderstanding near the end and last minute HE kind of ruined an otherwise great drama. But still worth watching, give it a try.

Yeah, typical Josei formula.. FL can do whatever she wants, some cases two time, even kiss 2ml, spend time with others " just friend excuse " , but ML has to take it all and for him only she exists.. in short - simp.. I guess the writer and millions of female viewers ( me excluded!! ) love this kinda bs, ehm i mean love story. 🤭
I know Ren Jia Lun will not kiss anyone on the lips because he is married. He will hug or kiss on the forehead…
i always skip romance dramas where he plays the main lead.. I personally dont feel any chemistry between him and his female co-stars when its rom-com genre..
