currently at epi 4 and really worried about the love triangle with her ex.. its already extremely annoying and with 40 episode, i hope FL won't do a mistake and letting this douchebag to close to her.. so it creates misunderstandings with ML..

Oh my god, this was such a feel good and fluffy drama, with some great emotional moments and twists at the end ... They get together in the last episode.. the last 2 mins and just 1 kiss at the end.. cut..So its not for everybody...…
Its more about youth.. how they became friends, family, school life.. teacher etc that part was really well done and i enjoyed it a lot!!! Well executed and really deep !!👍
About romance: So FL liked 2ML and ML was interested in 2FL.. so they supported each other to get the loved ones.. But none of the 2nd leads were interested in them.. Once FL and ML started to like each other, 2ML magically liked FL and went after her, cuz he found her notebook, where she wrote a lot about him in the past.. And the same with 2FL, she showed interest in ML.. There were some cute jealousy scenes, but nothing annoying..
Than around 25+ the big melodrama starts.. MLs dad is in the hospital, FL new it, but didnt tell him ( he thought, his dad is on business trip ) .. a bit later his dad dies ( cancer ) and ML blamed FL for net telling him earlier.. ( which was kinda dumb and stupid from ML ) and he left with his mother to England or somewhere else ( btw his mother abondened him when he was young, i hated her !! He made it to easy for her, she should have suffered much much much more !! )
Timeskip 4 years later.. Last episode, he comes back to China and approaches FL, where she works.. she is angry at him ( understandable ) He tries it again and again ... Last 2 min, they became a cpl and a kiss.. CUT !! thats it.. 🤭
There werent big missunderstandings, just slice of life.. and ML overreacting and blaming FL.. it was his father telling her, not to tell ML..
Until the Last 4 Episodes it was Great but the Last 4 Episodes Turned it Downhill and it was Sad that Misunderstandings…
just one episode more ( or cut some draggy part in the middle ), full of cpl time, skinship, kisses and this would have been one of the best cdramas for me personally.. It makes me angry, when you think about, how they dragged in the middle part.. 😓 I guess they thought, hey lets make a kdrama ending.. 🙄
I really wish Cdramas were shorter. Seriously most of them would actually be fun to watch if they actually didn't…
totally agree, the mid part felt so draggy :/ Makes me mad, when the ending was so rushed.. Sometimes less is more.. and better.. But overall it was one of the best youth cdramas.. I can just remember " Lovely Us " beside this one, that one was way shorter.. ( 16 epis )

I guess its because SFL being crazy for too long and ML being a jellyfish, a totally let down when its important. Why would a woman trust such a man, in the future he will let her down again! Imho it would be so much better FL staying single, cuz ML doesnt deserve her.. but well, we got them together at the end, unfortunatelly.. 🙄😏
