okay but this could have been expected (and i kind of love the way this turned out)... deep down adachi had doubts from the beginning and low self-esteem doesn’t just disappear in the blink of an eye (unfortunately). plus, kurosawa’s personality dictates his actions: he is a people-pleaser and holds adachi at utmost importance - of course he retreats the moment he feels he’s causing adachi distress

this was a very nice adaptation! if you liked it and haven't yet seen the anime definitely watch it (it's even better)

this drama is 50% cringey 50% fake deep, but hirose suzu is cute and i love kamiki so i will finish it anyway

it's kind of a spoiler but one of the male side characters will fall for (or rather be obsessed with) the main male character

for me reply 1994 was the all time favourite until reply 1988 came and snatched that title... so yes it is definitely worth watching! :D

you should definitely check out the rest of the reply series (1994, 1997) tho 1988 is the greatest among them in my opinion :)

i must be in the wrong mood for it but Goblin just could not grab my attention at all TT it is the only drama i started watching this summer (mostly because of the hype) and i've been stuck with it for weeks now... maybe it's because i saw spoilers already or i should have watched it when it was airing. i still don't know what my overall opinion will be at the end
