I have to admit that Asian dramas are also an escape for me. I can disconnect out of the world and be happy in this world. It has come to the point that one day I was mad at my husband and he was saying something to me and replied that unless he spoke to me on Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese OR (my favorite) Korean I wasn't going to listen. I have also found myself thanking people in those languages or calling my husband Oppa. My kids keep telling their friends that their mom is addicted to Asian dramas. By now they know better than to interrupt me while I'm watching one. Of course they also know that it is better to hit me up for something after watching one 'cause I will be on a better mood to say yes.

Welcome to WHY ISN'T THE WORLD AS OBSESSED WITH ASIAN DRAMAS AS I AM WORLD, we have been waiting for you! I was a Asian drama virgin when I saw my first, Playful Kiss & then my obsession began. I really have not watched any other kind of TV for the last 2.5 years. When I started I had just lost my job & since I had nothing to do & there was nothing on TV I looked through Netflix & read the description for PK & after finishing it in about 1.5 days I was addicted. I was without a job for about 1.5 years & would marathon dramas for 2-3 days straight then sleep for about 24-28 hours & start all over again. Once I found a job I do marathon short ones during the weekend & watch episode after episode from the time I come home around 6:00pm until about 1or 2 am. During the last 2.5 years I have watched 198 Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese & Chinese dramas & 117 movies. I do not want to be cured!

Where can I watch this? Daily Motion has it with English subs but the quality is horrible.

I LOVED THIS ONE! A sad ending? I do not think so, they just did so much for each other, in their own way, that I chose to believe they met each other in the afterlife. The story was told beautifully & everyone's acting was superb. The twist at the end was unexpected & so beautifully done that I forgave K for not confessing & taking all the suffering by himself & could not help to see & admire Eun Won the moment I realized that she was not being oblivious to his love but she was so in love herself that she was willing to do anything to grant his wish. I hope that K was not angry when she finally found him in the afterlife & that they are together showing their love to each other. A must see!

I started to watch this drama yesterday on Hot Drama & the subbing is horrible but still it gives you the gist of what is happening. All of the sudden I look up & see it is 2:00am & have to go to bed so I can be at work @ 8:30am. Why I'm telling you this? Because I started to watch around 7:00pm & without realizing it by 2:00am I had watched 13 episodes. Yeah, yeah I did skip a few scenes because the Old lady & her daughter drive me crazy & the translation made it hard to understand but I still loved it! I am hooked. I will go the distance, 120 episodes because I think it is going to be great. But please, can someone start subbing it correctly? I would be eternally grateful.

I too have come to LOVE Taiwanese Dramas! I am just bummed that they take forever to translate. I am still waiting for someone to translate Ia, Ia, I Do but that's beside the point, although... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GO AHEAD & SUB IT! This latin woman will be eternally grateful! Of your list my favorite was Just You, I know it was over the top with silliness but let me tell you it kept me so hooked that I would get out of work & watch the episode right in the parking lot even when it was not fully subbed. By the time I would get home & cooked dinner it was fully subbed & I would watch it again! I thought Aaron & Puff were great together. The only thing you forgot to mention was that the 2nd female lead in this drama was THE WORST ACTRESS EVER IN THE WORLD! She could not act even if her life depended on it. I gave up watching King Flower after episode 10 & then just watched the last 2 episodes. Although I loved the male eye candy in this drama it was just... I do not know how to explain it but maybe not that interesting? The same thing happened for Love Around, watched the first few episodes & then the last 2 & it felt that I had not missed anything although I love the actors. I still have not seen Love Now will get to it someday BUT I LOVED Fabulous Boys. I love all three versions of it! Jiro was amazing. Thank for this great article & I hope that more Taiwanese dramas get subbed. I love them!

I am so glad I decided to check this drama, IT HAS STARTED REALLY COOL! If they keep this up this drama is not only funny, it is going to be entertaining, full of romance (as you can see the chemistry between the two leads age difference is not taking that chemistry away), full of intrigue, bitchiness (the Secretary & the brother-in-law), willful children & touching moments. I AM HOOKED!

I'm so going to watch this. Although it's 120 episodes it turns out to be about 80 hours of my time. I have already watched dramas of about 80-82 episodes so I no biggie. I love gender bender dramas & I like the actors/actresses so why not? I think, though, that I will wait until it's almost done to watch it or I might just have to wait until someone loads it & subs it. I'm a Drama Fever member so I might request that they try to get the license for this one. You do not have to be a member to request a drama & if we all go ahead & request DF to get the license we might just get it. Looking forward to this one a lot. By the way, I do not know if any of you like Taiwanese dramas but I have been looking for Ia, Ia, I Do with English subs. Does any one know if there are any? If not could you help me request DF to try to get the license for this one too? Very much appreciated.

Your article just made me want to start watching this show. Where can I watch it with English subs? I have been also in a Taiwanese Drama Binge & I seem to love most of them although sometimes they are really out there, with exaggerated scenes/facial expressions/attitudes & I drives me crazy how must of the time the evil, in need of serious punishment second female lead is not punished. Still they are full of extremely appetizing eye candy & great actor/actresses that sometimes cannot help their situation because of the writers. Thanks for your article, I'll make sure to add this to my list!

Does anyone where I can get at least the English soft subs for this series? Or if there is anyone that has seen it with English subs? Sugoideas has all the episodes but they are not translated. If I could find the soft subs at least I can read them & then watch the drama. Or does anyone know how to work the website darksmurf? I would really appreciate the help!
