AND THE WORST ACTRESS EVER AWARD GOES TO....JIA YU!!!! I cannot stand that they had to redeem her at the end when she deserved a big punishment for not only her character been so mean but for her acting. Anyways, the ending was OH so appropriate. I think this is one of the few dramas where the kissing was done appropriately & felt passionate. Really none of those open eyed stay still kinds of kisses. I only missed Liang Liang's parents towards the end.
Liang Liang & Qi Yi were so cute, romantic & passionate. I LOVED THIS & WILL WATCH IT AGAIN!

No problem! It is nice to get people that have the same addiction as I do,
I LOVE Asian Drama to the point that I no longer watch regular TV or Movies BUT... one of the things that I put up with, because there's nothing I can do about it, is that I have to live thru all the episodes where the female lead is so forgiving of the second female B>>>H & in the end they never get the punishment they deserve. Is it me or is the Asian Female Lead that unaware of the fact that there's that woman trying to get her & they still think that the other girl cannot possibly be doing that to them? I love Liang Liang, but common, JIA YU IS A BI??H & did all those things to you on purpose!!!!! Maybe because I am a strong latina, lived through my best friend sleeping with my husband & have lived in the US for many years, I have learned to see other females for what they are especially those that are after our men. Hope that Asian Drama starts giving their female leads a more empowering attitude!
Is it me of the lady that plays Jia Yu REALLY NEEDS to take acting classes? Not only do I hate her for being so vindictive, spoiled, rotten, with a "me first, me second, me third, me every time" attitude BUT ALSO for her acting. Anyways, the rest of the cast is adorable & although I think the show did not need so many episodes, they seem to be wrapping it up nicely. I hope Jia Yu gets what its coming to her.
BAD, BAD, BAD! This show had so much potential but WHAT HAPPENED? No chemistry between the leads, could you really tell how they fell in love? The bad people, acting was great but YOU CALL THAT PUNISHMENT? A complete waste of 20 hours. This is the first drama I have ever felt this way about.
What about Tae Gong Sil from Master's Sun? I loved how in the beginning she found this guy that can make her world…
She needed him in the beginning because she did not know what to do or how to do it. She needed to get to a place where she was willing to understand herself & what she was going through, learn how to deal with herself & what she was seeing, accept her gift & the responsibilities to that gift entailed. Remember, she left him to find those answers & accepted them in the end without him. She learned how to control certain things & what she was willing to do for the ghosts. Also think about it, after 3 years in a coma, you wake up with no idea why you are now the way you are & you are scared & you hide yourself from the world. You can barely sleep or function. Then you find this wonderful refuge that allows you to rest, to get away from the things that scare you, what would you do? I would do exactly as she did hang on for dear life. Once you are allowed to rest & recover yourself the adrenaline you have been living on for so long finally goes down & you are able to start analyzing & understanding what happened to you & what you are willing to do. She was braver, She only needed him for a breather & then realized she needed to do this on her own & without involving anyone else. She just needed learn the had the power to get rid of them on her own.
Thought of one more, The Greatest Love, Gu Au Jung!!! Oh how I loved the way she kept fighting to live her life, how she did not show others how much they hurt her, kept trying to change others perception of her & in the end really believed that she was the right match for this amazing guy who loved her completely.
I loved this article & I agree that these women mentioned here are so different from the typical drama female lead that they really stood out. I have not seen all these dramas but I did fall in love with: Han Eun Soo from Que Sera, Sera was a little over the top but I really liked when she reported him to the police, Protect the Boss No Eun Seol was amazing on the way she protects the people she loves & what she liked about herself, LOVED King2Hearts Kim Hang Ah, tough yet feminine, sure of herself willing to put up with many things still be supportive of her man, Secret Garden's Gil Ra Im was also so strong & accepting of herself that it reflected on everything she did & last but not least, TBLSS Lee Yoo Shin, oh how I wished her sister Lee Soon Shin would have been a little more like her, more assertive, sure of who she was & gave a damn of what other thought. The rest of the leading ladies mentioned I have not seen but I thank the writer for giving me some leads on the next dramas I want to watch
What about Tae Gong Sil from Master's Sun? I loved how in the beginning she found this guy that can make her world disappear & she can get some much needed rest. Of course she just cannot let go of that so she sticks to him like glue & does not care about what other people think or say. She stands up for herself, her feelings are honest & she stays true to them doing what she believes is right. She finally accepts ALL of herself & becomes this amazing woman that likes who she is, does what she wants as long as she does not hurt others, finds her true calling & once she finds herself acceptable goes for the man she loves without any qualms, willing to take a rejection but knowing full well that she has done everything in her power to make him love her. That takes guts. Luckily, he felt the same way!
I did laugh a lot watching this drama, It was cute. The romance was not really there at all. I have seen Eugene be better in other dramas, on this one I could not help feeling upset at how her character was so weak & depending on others. The guys were funny & eye candy. It was OK. I will not be re-watching this one. Once was enough. When you have nothing else to watch this might be an OK one to try.
What the heck? This was one of the most disappointing drama endings EVER!!!
The bad ones do not get punish, the romance was lacking & Jung Soo wants to make bags? Oh please, a total waste of 20 hours.
