I was about to do a review for the very same reasons. I don't know how people are giving this 10, especially when one of the main supporting characters just disappears from the final episode. It perplexes me.
I'm scared. The Japanese have such a bad track record with live actions of their action & horror. I'll watch FMA and Tokyo Ghoul anyway, but kawai. 3 gatsu is still airing. I'm loving the anime. I'll definitely check out Saki. I can't believe they did another version of Kimi wa petto. I hope the actor is as endearing as Matsujun.
Oh I guess I could ask a question. Do they plan to make the characters more in line with how they were written in Yoko Kamio's original work (or close to it), or with how they were portrayed in K drama world?
I would really love to know if your are going to make the main lead as dumb as in the Korean version. That was…
Agreed 100%! I saw this on KS a couple of months ago. I don't have any faith in them so I didn't support them. Had they said they were making an American version of Hana Yori Dango I would have felt differently, but I don't think they know (or knew) where the souce material comes from.

A few years ago I kicked around the idea of getting up the capitol to make an American version of Hana Yori, but I let it go. I'm glad someone picked it up. The only thing that worries me is that on KS and even here you keep saying "an American version of the kdrama." Before it was a Kdrama it was a hit Japanese drama and movie. Before that, a hit Taiwanese drama. Before that a hit anime and manga, etc etc. I had a horrible feeling that the producers and/or writers don't have 1 iota of a clue and I still have it. The flash and style of he K-drama is fine as long as there is something behind it.
You rock! I adore Hiro. My heart broke when he retired from acting. It quickly mended when I read he'd be playing Sebastian in Kuroshitsuji. I thought it was a drama though. boo! The entire I watched both anime series I saw him as Sebastian (and I don't think it had anything to do with his role in Mei-chan..probably lol)
Thanks for reminding me about Beck. That's the only thing I've not seen. Re Zettai Kareshi: I wouldn't call him the unlucky 2nd male lead. I'm hoping for a Tokyo Dogs 2. He and Shun were fantastic. They had more chemistry with each other than they ever have with a female lead. :D
The VOICE!! Thanks for adding The Voice. I love Lee Sun Gyun. Yeah, I'd take off some of the babes who are barely in their 30s and add in Cha Seung Won, Bae Yong Jun, and the lickable Oh Ji Ho, but still a nice list to look at. *slurp*
Aw man, now I am going to be looking for..aw heyll! I just saw a toilet scene in Virus which made me think of the same actor in another drama in another toilet scene. I thought, 'He's always in the damn bathroom.' I was close.
I disagree with a few of your "best known as an actor" picks, but a good compilation. I like that you included the list of seiyuu trying to move into live action.
Damn, now that I think about it, I think I must stalk her as well. I really didn't need you bringing that to my attention Jackie! ;-)

Oh no, it doesn't seem bad. I've only watched 1 episode though. It was interesting really. I promised a friend I'd wait for her so I moved it from 'watching'. :D

Asian drama like it. The only anthologies I know are horror. *shrug*
