Me starting this episode, what feels like only 10 minutes gone by, "what it's over already?" lol. It's been a while since a drama made me feel like this.
Yi Chan realizing how important Eun Gyeol was to him was needed and I'm glad this episode showcases that but still... it was pretty sad to see Yi Chan like that in the end.
The moment we've been waiting for, Eun Gyeol's interaction with his mom as a high schooler in the next episode.
For a firefighter drama that offered such good safety tips, I'm disappointed how this drama turned out. Too many firefighters being blamed scenarios, too many annoying reporters, too many evil people getting away with things while the good guys suffered, and of course, from what everybody has been saying and from the peek I took at the final episode, an ending that makes me feel like I wasted my time on this. (I've only watched up to Ep 29 and I will stop it right here, as this seems like my happy ending for this drama).
I did like how they show the hardships of the firefighters like maintaining a family while being a firefighter, the newbies learning the hard way on being a firefighter, how one feels after being injured while on duty, and of course the brotherhood each firefighter had with each other.
Besides that, while there were some good moments, I began to feel more frustrated as I ventured through each episode. Not as frustrating as Fireworks of My Heart but I certainly didn't enjoy it as much, compared to A Date With the Future, and even that drama has its own flaws but I liked it overall.
While we wait for the next episodes, I wonder what we will watch next. I am thinking to move on to South Wind…
Oooh good luck with that one. I skim through some episodes of South Wind Knows. The couple is cute but boy I cannot do with an evil mother in a drama, especially when I know that she won't get punish for her evil deeds.
Well there you go... there was the reason why that crying emoji was on the calendar.
Can we please just get 1 firefighter drama where nobody dies? I get the message that they risk their lives on rescuing people but why do these writers always do the rinse and repeat?
Also, I just think it's cruel how the one firefighter who's been going through the hardship the most ends up dying in the end.
What makes it even more sad was he gave the final words on the tip section at the end of Ep 32.
The way they are setting this up, it almost seems like Lou Ming Zhi is the one who won't make it till the end. Think about it, someone who most didn't like and accept at first but eventually turn around to accept him, only to lose him from a fire accident and the firefighter bros will be heartbroken by this because for some, they wasted so much time being against him and never gotten a chance to be a bro to him.
Keep in mind, this is just a guess. I would rather have everybody make it until the end of this drama but that crying emoji on the calendar leads to me to think elsewise.
I cannot figure it out also. Sometimes they look so different in their profile pictures.
Yeah... I tried to make a suggestion on the cast, but I got a response from one of the volunteer staff saying "don't roll half of the cast because of some enigmati importance". I don't even know what enigmati is since it's not a word.
Although I didn't find any significance of showing the 1995 characters in the first 2 episodes, I like this drama overall. The first 2 episodes did a great job setting up the story of Eun Gyeol. Looks like next week will be in the 1995 setting for a good while.
I'm only 2 episodes in but I like it already, just because there's more than just the big rescue mission scene like the earthquake mission. It shows to me potentially what firefighters can go through in their daily lives. From answering to smaller rescues to false emergency call & facing the consequences for the false emergency call, the hardships some may go through between a firefighter husband and his wife & child, to celebrate the welcoming of the 2 new recruits, and the brotherhood this firefighter group has with each other. While I do like romance, I'm more into the firefighter related scenes which is why I'm enjoying this. Romance is just an added bonus when it eventually happens. Love the firefighter tips at the end of each episode.
Now I just gotta prepare mentally as I watch each episode because I know I'm gonna get attach to these characters, knowing that at least one person won't make it till the end.
now that this Drama is finally over, can someone spoil me the ending and answer some questions:1.was it happy…
1. Yes, happy ending 2. SML wasn't as annoying. He did still have feelings for FL and did want to get back with her, but let her be once she told him her feelings for ML 3. A small love triangle that gets squashed by the halfway point of the drama. 4. Nope. Once they got together, they stayed together and supported each other.
I really thought Sol Hee's dad was gonna play a bigger role in this drama, but all he was there for is to change his ex-wife from being a gold digger loser mom to a more caring mom in the end. Oh and also from ex wife to wife again. 😆
Oh well, in the end, Sol Hee got her ability back because of her parents. Despite some draggy episodes and a lot of annoying characters, this drama ended pretty well.
