As what Hanis said, and I also brought up that from the other side of coin (e.g. Nut's perspective), Tofu is a…
It makes your skin crawl probably because you don’t care, you just watch it for the sake entertainment, jumping the bandwagon because its a trend! But these fictional shows, be it movie, kdramas, anime and BL programs which are increasingly popular among a diverse audience worldwide have the ability to influence the values and attitude of the viewers with regards to important social issues! For some these fictional shows are not just for enjoyment, it can stir emotions, shape and impact how one think, say, act and interact!
I dont think anyone in comment is saying his behaviour is ok , what some of us are trying to say is that he has…
It’s starting to look like he can get away with hitting anyone because of his painful past! His actions were inexcusable, let’s not justify it by saying, Nut hit Tofu, not once but twice (I sincerely hope no more in the coming episodes), because he had a lot of unresolved trauma. Regardless of what the reason is, hitting someone is wrong and not ok! Let’s just leave it like that.
I’m still in awe some people are actually defending Nut’s behavior! I get the part that he has a troubled relationship with the people around him growing up and I do empathize with that, but saying he act the way he do because that’s how he was brought up and that’s the environment he’s accustomed to is purely BS and utterly wrong!!! Violence is violence. It should have no room in a relationship and in today’s society! Nut is a big red flag and he needs not just love from the people around him but also professional help! I really felt bad and extremely disappointed how the writer shape Tofu and Mathana’s character. It’s not sending a good message for those people suffering from mental illness and those who experienced and continually experiencing abuse whether it be physical or verbal.
