thought i was gonna hate this drama, but ended up loving it for what it was. yes the lead actress makes the character super cringey in the beginning, but i really do appreciate the character development and the complex story line. zhang linghe made me get second lead syndrome momentarily but dylan wang did a great job combating it

Basically Yin Xue had a lover once long ago and she ended up being killed, so he went back to his master to have him save her. She ended up dying and in order to see her again he went back to cultivate immortality and wait for the day her spirit is reborn. When he was talking to AYL, he wasn't talking about using RG's body to bring back AYM's spirit, but instead get AYM's memories and have RG believe that she's AYM. I think RG was especially a good candidate for that because she is her daughter, so she already has the blood of AYM.
YX was not lying about his lover, RG is actually her reincarnation but she doesn't know it. I guess everyone can also have different opinions on whether she was the same girl from his past or not. It kinda depends on whether you think it's the soul that make the person or their experiences and memories. But RG is definitely NOT the descendant of YX's lover. She never had a child so that would be impossible. Not to mention, if she did have a child, that would probably make YX the father and that would mean that YX and RG are related. Ew.
I think the curse was something about RG not being able to improve her martial arts, or at least I remember them mentioning that in the beginning somewhere. I haven't seen the two episodes either so I'm not sure if they'll address that. I think I heard something about her regaining the memories of her past life though.
Lol I don't really know what implies that ZF is going to go evil though. If you're talking about the end of episode 50, it looked more like he was trying to kill himself.
