Yes and specifically it's a Beijing dialect, just like in Addicted. For Taiwan and Hong Kong, while they have…
a little off course comment but just want to add that even though now China uses simplified characters officially, Taiwan and HK traditional characters, Chinese can read/write in simplified/traditional either one or both depending on education and geographical adaptation... also in Chinese these characters are written (simplified/traditional) the same but read differently with different sounds according to dialects (spoken language of each province/town) including mandarin. So, for example, a Chinese like me I can read these characters both simplified/traditional in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Teochew just with a different sound...
e.g. 吃饭/吃飯 (simplified/traditional) - have a meal can be pronounced as: Chīfàn in Mandarin Sek fan in Cantonese Sit fan in Hakka Jiak peng in teochew Che we in Shanghainese .. so meaning one book no need for translation can be read by China, Taiwan, hk..... Singapore, Malaysia..... :-)) ! won't say its completely different languages though... :-D
What's new? Has anyone found anything good to binge or watch weekly? :)
