Can anyone explain the part when the ML's sis-inlaw stole the picture and went to Mr Han to sell it? I thought…
my interpretation is that Mr. Han realized what was happening - that someone had taken the painting from the shop and was selling it. He knew enough about He Ran & Xiao Han's relationship to understand that neither of them would have given that painting away to someone else (ie. XH's ex-girlfriend's sister). So I think he lied that it was fake and ensured she put the painting back.
like in the novel, she died without him by her side. I hated they couldn’t even say goodbye properly
thanks for letting us know! frankly, I'd rather they just go with the sad ending since it seems a bit more realistic and follows the original book. A happy ending would be ok too but I hope they don't go with the cop-out dream version.
Can someone help me understand the ML & FL's thought processes for the two break-ups?
When the FL and ML first got together (with the flower blooming), it seems like Xiao Han knew He Ran would potentially end things with him when she left for university (since he saw the letter). Did he decide to still accept and start the relationship, knowing that things could end, because he still loved her? And then after they broke up, he was still waiting for her to come back to him? (since he sent her that Happy New Year's text...) As for He Ran, I understand she broke things off with him the first time because she thought the goldfish's death symbolized her potential death. She was afraid he would suffer if he knew she was going to die... but then after she saw his text, did she realize she couldn't bear being away from him because she loved him so much?
For the second break-up, I understand the situation is not entirely clear yet since the episodes aren't out, but based on the previews.... did He Ran ghost Xiao Han because she thought her death was impending and near, and once again didn't want to hurt Xiao Han with her death? Then upon seeing him near her university, did she realized she loved him too much to not be with him... again? And perhaps Xiao Han moved near her because while he wanted to give her space, he still loved her and wanted to be with her? Or maybe he saw those painted shirts and realized he still loved and that she truly loved him?
If so, seems like He Ran is repetitively running away from him not to hurt him with her illness/death and Xiao Han is always waiting for her, regardless of whether he knows about her situation or not.

As of Ep 3: - Woo Hyun is married but is potentially having an affair with Hyun Wook (who's also married). - Joon Beom is sleeping with Mo Ran but seems to be infatuated with Woo Hyun (and Mo Ran seems to perhaps be jealous). - Mo Ran is friends with Ok Seon but trying to make it to the top - so she's working to replace Ok Seon with Woo Hyun for the top show host spot - Ok Seon is married but her husband is having a long term affair
and... Joon Beom has great chemistry with Sung Woo
ehh... he DID very politely ask her to leave and held his feelings back in the beginning. clearly he didn't want to celebrate his birthday but she just stayed there (in HIS house) and kept badgering him about celebrating. yes he lashed out but i think he gave her ample warning... i'm going to say she overstepped her bounds on this one.
i thought 25 isn't out yet. I'm asking bc ML's mom covered for her during the party at their house in ep 23 and I'm sure she heard that everyone thought she was QY + ML's palpable anxiety .... wondering if she connected the dots yet or not.
