I read your review having watched the drama once and have been watching it a second time and wow. Your way of writing, explaining and putting things in perspective is truly a gift. This was very well written and I loved reading it. I loved that last bit about leaving us with a thought and you are so truly correct. especially this bit "The only gift he had left in his trembling hands was her exit. He broke his own heart to ensure she wouldn't spend her best years fading away in the shadow of his pain. He didn't just walk away; he gave her the only thing he had left to give: her freedom." (like wow! this hit me like a train.) I didn't even think to break down and really analyze Jin Zhao with that thought in mind. And let me tell you it was very hard to watch the part where he decided to let her go and keep watching until their reunion out of frustration. But now I see if from a different lense and its so beautiful, raw and touching. The way these characters are described, developed and portrayed? UGH. The OST's and the cinematography as well??? UGHHHHHHHH . I am left wanting more and thats how I know and will forever remember my first ever cdrama as a top tier.

I just wanted to leave a comment of appreication to HeYu and his reccent drama speed and love. I think that he did an amazing job and I honestly could not see anyone else playing Jin Zhao. He is the first chinese male actor who ive taken a liking to through this drama. His facial experssion, line delivery and outside of that his humor, smile and personality is what truly makes him shine as a person. Fighting HeYu!
