Mr Sunshine is an excellent drama. It shines light onto a very difficult time in korean history, and is another example to show just how great korea is with its historical dramas. Its poignant, bittersweet, heartbreaking, and very emotional. Definitely worth a watch.
Vagabond is prolly the most different one out of my top 5 in terms of storyline. Its not a historical, and its an action drama. It hass the whole wrong timing, not saying anything when you should have, us against the world vibes like in SNTL. As its an action, unlike the rest of these dramas, its more fast paced, but definitely not rushed. Personally, it was nothing short of perfection✨️
i think Pat needs a few lessons on self-control from Joe🤣
Ik Elyes is the bad guy, but omg just look at him sitting there on the bed, quiet, thinking about where he went wrong, looking so beautifully sad😭💞 I'm no better than Pat, I hate Elyes, but I love him, he's so hard to resist😩
Though I'm glad Pat spoke up last ep, we may have lost him for a while, but our boy is back💪(at least for now😄)
"I said cancel, not postpone. Cancel everything in the next three days."🔥🔥🔥
Come on gurl, get with the times, he has a sick boyfie to take care of😘
His acting may be bad, but he has that sexy, hot-mess, softie bad boy ceo act nailed to the t! I am absolutely here for it!!!
"I'll feel less guilty if I do something for you."
Brooo cmon, is that all you've got??!! That's your chance bro, you need to be the sweet, caring husband-material boyfriend who'll take care of Pat and treat him like a king when he's ill🤦♀️🤣 But of course, this idiot Pat will take anything- and me the bigger idiot here talking about how we've got him back *smh*😞🤦♀️×2
I find this whole scheming against Elyes thing so fucking hilarious. Do I hate Teeranai and Thiti?? Ermmm, absolutely not!! I fact, I find their whole thing rather amusing😆 Same with Fei Long and Run, very entertaining. To be totally honest, I'm kinda rooting for these couples(as long as Teeranai and Fei long stop w the manipulation and shit) Like with Elyes and Pat, they're such a guilty pleasure🤷♀️🤭
"I'll bathe you."
Omg Elyes, you dangerous, sexy man🥵😩
Once again, no Kimmie this episode🥺Cmon ppl, where you hiding our fave guy at😓
Preview for next week- looks like Fei long and Run are back, and Run gets kidnapped (did I see that right??) Hmmm, I wonder what Elyes is going to do...
"When i wake up in the morning, and see you sleeping next to me, i feel like the happiest person in the world."
"Every single day, every minute, every second, im thinking about you, Haruto."
Its like he's stamping his mark on him, same with using his handkerchief to wipe his hands, saying Minase is Hirukawa's.✨️😏
I love the sense of consciousness they have around each other, they can't walk past without glancing at each other, probably wondering 'is he looking at me?' 'do i look ok?' 'do i smell?' 'what is he thinking?'
From the preview, you can see how these subtle gestures are gonna build up and bring them closer.💕
This totally resonated with the drama, regrets aren't just about having done things you wish you didn't, but also not having done things you wished you did, and this was that.
I was thinking about what the 3 guys would guys be thinking in their head after Zi Ye died.
Zhanbai must have thought "If only i came a day earlier, if only i told her how i felt earlier,"
Mingjie must have thought "if only i listened to her and didn't go back, of only i didn't forget her,"
Ya Mi must have thought "if only i protected her like i promised, if only i didn't take her out of the medicine village,"
and its just so heartbreaking thinking about "if only... what if.... i should have.... i shouldn't have..." because little did they know, their decisions would leave them with a lifetime of regret.
Yes, i love these kind of painful but beautiful and thoughful dramas, there's just something so deep and touching about them.
If you've seen on my profile, my top 5 kdramas are My dearest, Alchemy of souls s1, Moon lovers, Vagabond, and Mr Sunshine, and if youve watched them or have heard about them, you can see that they all have the same sad/tragic vibe.
When these kinda dramas are done well, they are on another level.
Me too!!💗
