Maybe it does sound "funny" to you, but why should they choose their names against someone else's standard? I was singing this drama praises last episodes, but if they do that thing where the female love rival is presented as evil, a cheater, a good digger, or whatever else, imma be pissed. It happens in all dramas, not just in bls, where the love rival could be literally perfect but the writers give them this big flaw (which sometimes isn't even consistent with their character) as a reason to bring the mc's together. Totally unrealistic, and kind of annoying cuz of the fact that it's mostly women.

So.... it's been literally forever, and a whole 8 episodes are out whilst I've been stuck since finishing episode 2 over a month ago. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't by choice– I was swamped with college exams and moving houses, and a massive delay with the WiFi after moving, leaving me internet-deprived for over 2 weeks. It. Was. A. Struggle.🤧 Now I'm back... kind of, and I'm ready to see the chaos I've been missing the past month.

Episode 3

I don't know if the pearl clutchers are still in the comments section, but I remember when this first started, certain people were complaining about this just being porn without a plot (which I mean, you knew what you were getting yourself into, so...🤷‍♀️) but the conversation between Piang and Jun at the bar shows how this series is SO MUCH MORE than that. Yes, there are lots of NC scenes (which, complain of you will, but that's a you problem, cuz the rest of us are perfectly happy with the delivery of what we were told we'd be getting) but it's deeply rooted in the message this drama is delivering– about discovering ourselves, our preferences, building our identity and who we are as people. This isn't just a nc filled bl, it's an eye-opening drama about self-discovery, about love, about experimenting, and about finding out our place and our identity. Jun talking through the changes he's experiencing is so important, and not because "oh he's a bottom and not a top," but because he's showing us that it's okay to be confused, that it's okay to still be figuring things out, and I think that's such a beautiful message.

It's clear Sorn likes Jun and is possessive of him– though he hasn't come to terms or even realisation of it yet– but I feel it's deeper than that. Well, I've got 5 more episodes to catch up on, hopefully the answer will be there.
