From the first episode, what is going on??? So much drama....
Erm okayyy, first episode is finished.
I'm not quite sure what to think.
I'm an absolute sucker for anything fantasy, especially when it's non-human characters like gumihos, werewolves, vampires, etc, so I think I'm really gonna enjoy that aspect of it. However, I did feel this episode moved just wayyy too fast, they met too quickly, it got revealed that Mark (Joss) is a vampire and that Tong (Gawin) has this special and rare 'golden blood' that vampires want right from their initial meetings, which I felt was a little underwhelming. I feel it would be much better if they waited till Tong and Mark actually got to know each other and then all these secrets were eventually revealed, rather than it being dumped on Tong and us all at once– it takes the tension and building up of suspense that I think such dramas thrive on away, which is quite a shame (in my opinion).
It's not a good look to start off with, but it's only just the beginning, so I'll keep an open mind and try not to judge so quickly.
