I want a painful love, where them being together causes them pain as they remember their hurtful pasts, but they are in even greater pain when they aren't with each other.
I want to see the emotional turmoil both characters go through as they fix their past mistakes and work through their wounds together.
I dont want to see a fluffy, standard love story, i want to see a love-hate relationship at full intensity.
As i write this, i ask myself, am i being too ambitious?? And then im quickly reminded that its YinWar we're talking about, and if not them, then who would be able to deliver us such raw, painfully beautiful emotions??
For the next 11 weeks, this is going to be the only thing stopping me from hating Mondays!
Me too, i really hope the ratings rise as high as possible, this was definitely one of the strongest first episodes of anything ive seen, bl and non bl, and i just know it will be one of my favourites this year!
Agreed, the first episode was an easy 10/10 for me!
Im in total disbelief, especially because of the fact that all i see is love and excitement for this series in the comments, so where did such an extreme rating come from???
To improve the bank robbery scene and to show us just how smart and capable Joker is, there should have been a better plan, like maybe he makes a fake call to the bank about his visit, fakes his ID and fingerprints, maybe wear a mask that looks like the real manager, hire some guys to pretend to be his security guards and secretary, and hack into the bank to find out the code (i mean cmon, how did he not even find that out before he tried to rob a bank...like really???)
There were obviously some weak moments in the first episode like the sloppy writing and execution of the bank robbery (it definitely should NOT have been that easy) so i did see people criticising the script- which is 100% reasonable and fair, and there were also many people- like me- who let it slide and just let ourselves enjoy without stressing over small, excusable details (though i hope it doesn't happen again!)
Anyways, its looking very strong from here, and if it continues like now, then im sure that in due time it will get the rating it deserves (which imo should be no less than 8.5)
Personally, i dont think Ma ji yeong's love for her children was toxic, but rather her outlook on life was toxic, with the way she believed that her family was worth more as human beings than other people, and how she was mad that a mere 'nobody' killed her 'more valuable' son.
Also, the eldest son, Kim sang hyeok isnt her son, i think it was the son of the chairman's previous wife, so she can't be blamed for raising him 'wrong'
I feel nothing but immense pity for Eun, she was so pure snd innocent, but its so unfortunate that the people around her weren't the same, and that all that she went through made her go to such unfortunate lengths.
