Actually in this aspect cdramas are a bit better than kdramas. A lot of cdramas have people wearing same outfits or a set closet or even using things that look normal despite wether they are supposed to be rich or poor but kdramas tend to diss this factor.

I really hate stupid misunderstandings. In L&R I can understand them and their actions but importantly despite everything they kept going towards each other, so if AOL doesn't have the kind where you want to slap some sense then definitely going to watch it next.
Started this last night and the only complain I have is why does the episode finish so freaking quickly, wish they were longer. Btw the transition of LX from bride to student is so smooth.

Want to ask something for those that have watched this dramas. In regards to L&R, how is AOL and L&D. I have seen a lot of people comparing L&R with these dramas so I am wondering whether to watch them. Both of these dramas were high on my watchlist but I think perhaps due to some reviews or comments I didn't end up watching them but now after L&R I am considering again. btw I am going to start Forever Love because heard good things about it. I remember reading very bad things about the misunderstanding part of AOL which made me not want to watch it.

Not really a breakup from the leads perspective. It's like they are a magnet and others tried to pull them apart but no matter what they did ( actually most part was done by ml himself intentionally ) they just kept going towards each other.
Have to say it's one of those dramas that grow on you because of good story and also because of its length that after it ends it feels surreal. Two things I have to tell about this drama is 1. If I would summarize the whole story it would be like this - SF and the rest. 5 mins of SF is 5 episodes of others. The guy literally was the answer to every problem, even to the end ( btw how many freaking times did the guy get stabbed).
2. Second thing has to do with why I think people find hard to move on from this drama. It's not like you won't find another story like this, you might even find better ones but what makes this different is that it's going to be hard to find another drama with this kind of leads and even this sort of romance. Finding another ml like SF is going to be nearly impossible. Another ml who is not only smart - figures things out in seconds and acts according to best solution, strong - even with the stabbing he got he was still first dealing blows, but the most importantly a ml who has this kind of devotion and yet sees things clearly and logically. There are other ml who are devoted but get lost in their devotion and dont see things clearly. I find XJ to be one of the better fl. Some might find little faults on her but I can overlook those because she had genuine reasons for that unlike other fl and she too was totally dedicated to the ml ( the number of times she says " Si Fang ", I wouldn't be surprised if the actress didn't go " Si Fang Si Fang " in her sleep ). The romance that SF and XJ bring together is also something that's going to be hard to find in other dramas. There is something different in their romance, and I am not talking about the actors and their chemistry ( obviously they played a big part ), it's like SF is for XJ and XJ for SF, there is no nothing other to that.
Really glad to have seen this and hoping I can move on sooner.

So watched 48th last night and it does feel rewarding to see XJ finally getting all the wrongs she did to SF past and present. Now waiting for them to get back together but after she stabbed him in the previous episode,... It feels to me that she herself might not be directly responsible for all of it and eagerly waiting for them to show all that happened 1000 years back and also HC getting what he deserves. But what I found unsatisfied is that even after knowing what SF did for their " 3 realms " and how he single handedly safed them while all the time getting wronged by them, their reaction to all those reveals was just too meh.

That's why I am taking it slow. Before used to watch 3-4 episodes at a go but now can watch hardly 2 episodes before it gets too much. Usually I don't get effected by bad or evil characters because you know that's the way they are but this time, I don't think I have hated a character as much as HC and he isn't even doing that much to get this reaction from me, which was weird. But now I realized it wasn't about HC instead because he is messing with SF and XJ, that's why I hate him.
It's taking me a lot of time to cross this episodes past 40 because I have to stop watching after 2 episodes otherwise my laptop is in serious danger. Wonder how others got past this arc.
