omg replies I don't mean French kisses just a normal kiss where you are not looking like you are forced into it. It's a bad kiss when I can sense actors are working. So many cdramas had inexperienced leads having first kisses where it look natural and sensual without 18+ kisses and maintaining pg rating. Keep defending but they are bland in intimacy

Religious fanatics tried hard to get this Kdrama boycott but real audience has made this kdrama hit worldwide. Congrats to Genie, make a wish for being top 3 worldwide Netflix and top 1 non English series. My thoughts, this is excellent kdrama with flaws.

Wish these religious fanatics stood the same way for women of their religion to break them free from patriarchal customs instead of acting like jobless keyboard warriors trying to bring FICTIONAL kdrama.

Why kdrama writers can't even writer 12 episodes properly? Ending was rushed abrupt you can like ending if you are watching drama only for leads but if for plot the ending was very underwhelming. Last two episodes could have been written better to close loose ends and not wasted here and there . Overall decent drama not excellent not average my rating 7/10 would have give 8 or 9 if last episode was better

already so much is happening in the story they don't have enough episode to close the sub plots so I also feel the murder plot is unnecessary addition

I rate this 10 but I will rate it low if it is not happy ending. You don't name a drama happiness and not give any of it. So far this is going great last two episodes will either break or make this for me

Just finished watching it 2 days back. I am not really into high school dramas with smart guy clumsy girl stories but I was suggested by my friend that this was different from those typical dramas and yes she was right I am so glad that I gave this drama a chance. This is the best drama I have watched so far I didn't think that it would be a Chinese drama but life is full of surprises. The plot is good kind of gives nostalgic feels. The character development is amazing. I like how in the end the male lead becomes more expressive and communicates his feelings. I love how the female lead matures from being clumsy but I found her cute. Her silly acts were cute unlike in other dramas. I like how she doesn't get swayed easily as the time progresses. This drama is amazing and a gem in itself.
People who are just like me and can't stand those typical shoujo drams I suggest give this drama a chance you won't regret it. With each episode there is a progress in each character and in the end will take you by surprise.
I really hope that they come up with a season 2

I get it when people say they didn't like the drama of course everyone has their own opinion and tastes everyone digests the story in a different way but I don't understand when people trash the actors for that reason ....
This drama has an ordinary plot but yet it has captured many people's hearts I think the credit goes to the talented actors for their amazing acting this drama would not be what it is without these talented actors it has topped the online rating and on tv also it has done well and I am sure it would have topped on tv too if it had not been aired along with two historical dramas which are preferred mostly by older generations I mean all those million people are not fools to shower this drama with praises but there are few people who just can't digest the fact that their so called my oppa ji chang wook has better chemistry with nam ji hyun than their own ships and start criticizing her I mean give that girl a break she is so adorable and talented I have seen her previous drama and as an actress she has grown so perfectly yet people keep on trashing her just because she is not popular remember one thing no actor is popular from the beginning every actor had a single drama in his/her life that brought them into the spotlight and for nam ji hyun its this drama but too bad few people still can't differentiate between reel and real world and start trashing the actress and blame her with their senseless opinions
This drama needed actors to portray different emotions which I see have been done perfectly
not a single actor has failed in that job and I think that's what makes this drama special I have watched ji chang wook's all the dramas and so far this drama has a golden place in my heart he is my most fav kdrama actor now and kang do ha someone give that man an award
Ji chang wook's chemistry with nam ji hyun is undeniable I have been watching k drama for some million light years and this kind of chemistry is rarely seen to be honest I became a shipper now(but I know my boundaries unlike other shippers I don't go on criticizing his other co stars)
The drama got draggy in between but that was expected since its an 40/20 episode drama but still didn't fail to kept me glued till the end I think this will be my one of the permanent fav k dramas even though its ordinary but the actors made it special

p.s: My comment is based on my observations I don't mean to offend anyone I know everyone has their opinions and has right to put but sometimes I just can't tolerate few people trashing actors

I may be wrong but I have noticed one thing Koreans have loved this drama when I see the comments on naver and other digital platforms koreans have always been supportive most of the negative comments about the drama have been made by immmature fangirls and jcws previous costar fans or shippers

Really a lovable drama with lovable cast. The journey comes to an end. Woah! What an incredible journey. If you are up for story then it may keep you glued to the screen or may not. Cause this drama has mixed viewers. The ending was amazing with every character giving you space for open analysis. These are like real life characters. Nobody is perfect, nobody is strong all the time, sometimes love loses infront of circumstances but in the end find their way. The amazing chemistry between NJH and JCW is really a huge factor why this drama has been loved they did more than justice. No other couple can really make me fall for them like jibong.

So if you are here for the reviews ignore the hate comment and go and see it for yourself.

This drama gifted me my new favourite korean actress. Nam ji hyun. What an incredibke showcase of emotions she can convey. The ending-she caught me off guard. I cried only when she cried. She deserves super appreciation!

wow just watched episode 31-32 and things just got real now last 4 episodes are gonna be so thrilling and fun wow i am ready for the rollercoaster ride

Eun Bong Hee might as well be the best female protagonist of K-town . She is so natural and you now quick to get what is going on around that makes the drama that much more likable. She is also a very strong Female lead unlike others who always need a shoulder to cry on , she can provide her shoulder to cry on for her lover and that is what i call a perfect relationship where both compromise at some point for each other and support each other at some other point. Also though the break up was heartbreaking and might sound a cliche but it was important; it was important not only for Wook-ah to get himself together but also for Bong-hee's character to prove her love for wook-ah. She cant see her boyfriend in distress that also with her dad involved matter i just want to hug my poor BONG-HEE and obviously me Wook-ah!!
