I must say that this drama is the perfect adaptation of marry my husband the manwha. More than its drama.
Did you read the manwha “Marry My Husband”? because this is nothing like that manwha. I enjoyed the manwha version and the dram version of MMH. I really enjoyed this drama because it is different than MMH. But I enjoyed them both because everyone gets what they deserve in the end ⭐️
You noticed! The reason for those blackout breaks is because this drama is a co-production between domestic SK…
Thanks for answering my questions! I’m used to shows having commercial breaks here in the US. But that was one of the selling points for me of kdramas - there aren’t any when streaming of course - but also usually I don’t notice them at all, and kinda assumed maybe they did it differently when the drama airs in SK. I don’t notice them in Kokowa dramas; maybe I’m not paying attention! or the edits are smoother? Also, I just assumed that Disney or Netflix “originals” were just those companies paying some money to slap their name on them while getting the rights to stream over here. Lots I don’t know!

Do the commercial breaks get taken out of other dramas from other networks that are made in South Korea? because there are only a few others I remember this happening with - seems like more recent ones
Having to come back and watch this again for my Sung Hoon fix. And cleanse my palate after that terrible vertical drama that he was just in. Please Mr. Manager, get SH a real kdrama gig!
meh. I really like both leads. But this makes him into a puppy - kind of a dumb puppy. He’s a mimbo. Well, the character not the actor. I’m going to finish, but it’s not awesome. It’s fluffy, but just barely. And the second leads - why is she even mad at him!? What’s not to like - he’s perfect boyfriend material for her. The towns reaction to the main lead is … weird. Not sure for that matter why the FL is or was mad at the ML. 🤷🏻♀️
I watched all of the free episodes on IG without realizing it was a vertical drama or even that those exist! I was glad to see the ML in another drama but this is something else. I’m not paying $16 a week to prop up these trashy companies. I’m guessing they are using these leads to support legitimacy. I wouldn’t even mind the cheap sets and terrible supporting actors, but I’m not paying to have that kind of app on my phone. Sorry Sung Hoon, I’ll watch you again in a real drama ♥️ Update: I too found the entire thing on daily motion. Ads of course. Ok so it’s cheesy, very much American soap opera style, and I hope the leads had fun making it. However, I prefer to see them in real Korean dramas. Bring them back! And I agree, his manager must hate him. But he’s an absolute doll ♥️ I actually enjoyed FL’s restrained acting - it fit the character. When she gave the ML her big smile, I smiled with her. ♥️♥️♥️ They deserve real roles in real dramas.
I like both leads. Started off cute and funny with a unique premise that combines Cinderella with a haters to lovers cliche with an office romance. Evil sister and troublesome father. Moms being friends was a great trope breaker ♥️ Sister element was simply plot convenience, was weird when they dropped that storyline - like they ran out of time. All in all an enjoyable watch with good visuals and heartfelt moments. Perfect? No. Groundbreaking? No. Enjoyable? Yes. Rewatch factor - I’ll probably rewatch as a comfort watch. Side note: most kdramas seem to fall apart at the end in my opinion.
It is a decent watch. Nothing gutwrenching. But honestly that’s what made it good. It’s a little bit too involved inside her head. But isn’t it like that sometimes? I like Seo In Guk, and I think he did a great job of portraying a much more subdued character. I haven’t seen her in many things but I think she did a good job.
Loving it! Episode 10 and it’s an easy watch - funny like a romantic comedy should be! - and just enough heart to make the chemistry shine. Love the 2nd and THIRD(!!!) couples ♥️
Just finished episode 7. For me a LOT of dramas have terrible endings, so I’m reserving judgement until the end. So far so good! I HATE romantic “comedies” that aren’t comical, but instead are actually very serious. So this is exactly what I want in a kdrama romantic comedy. Light, sweet, heartfelt, and funny. Don’t get me started on QoT or Missing Crown Prince - those were definitely NOT romcom. Yes I know it was named Queen of Tears but it is listed as a romcom!
This is so much better than I thought it would be!
The first episode or two I wasn’t sure, but by the end of ep 2 I was hooked ♥️
Flavour boys 😂😂😂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Might have to wait until Saturday to watch both of the last episodes together ♥️

Loveing this drama!
I only hoped it would be passable!
My toes were actually curling while she was trying to get the car stopped!

I would believe 2010.
But not 2020.
