I like his role here too!! Though he speaks so sarcastically yet in the next second he displays his concern. For eg during the CP saga, CSS told his mum she wanted to do investigation. Our dear YS went on about a lady doing investigation, next second, he is on his feet and in the room trying to dissuade her from endangering herself.
I like that he came to Palace to get leeway for the Cheng family immediately upon hearing the news. He knew CSS was very troubled already and didnt add nasty words but assurance to her. Also ensured family had meals and was courteous to them.
I am looking forward to the part he stood by CSS through her deathbed when she was deeply saddend by LBY. And yet though he must have fallen for her much, he was willing to let her go and pursue whom she loved. It was so noble to let the fiancee go to find her happiness. Perhaps he felt she had similar parental situaltion n could relate to him n vice versa. I hope there will be a beautiful ending for him in this drama🥰...
I really like how CSS is growing up with the broad perspective in the way she was able to pinpoint the issues of CPrincess. How she is the one who needed to look at where she went wrong instead of everyone else, and how she was the one who kept reminding CP of the lost love instead of moving on. Letting go of our rights to be angry and taking revenge, of moving on for a better future - is that a strength or a weakness?
I feel so sorry for SS, she has come so far and has finally found happiness but she has to keep facing challenges.…
Love your sentiments written out so well! Indeed this series doesnt merely scrape through the issues of the heart but took time to explore the inner man of different character. It was as if bringing us into this other world to experience the love, hurts, joy and sorrows. As the chinese says 酸甜苦辣 (sour, sweet, bitter, hot) days. So looking forward to next 2 tuesdays to thursdays!
