There are many talented newbies who find it hard to get casted in dramas so if you get a leading role you must prove you deserve it.
Hong ye-ji seems hardworking but she lacks in emotion and depth. You can’t blame viewers for commenting about her acting bc she’s a main lead and gets a lot of screentime. How would you watch a character that doesn’t convince you?. Although I’m sure she will improve once she gets to work on a lot of projects maybe as a supporting. Good luck to her!

maybe in the first episodes but I observed that as it progresses Sajo Hyun is eventually turning more normal. And yes It is the writing and directing that directly makes up a character. Still impressive especially if you imagine how he switches his persona in between takes to make up a scene of the 2 personalities together. Other actors can’t even do one role properly but he’s doing good with 2 roles in one show.

I think because of the directing. I heard, the director offered him the role after seeing him in Weak Hero as Sieun and thought that Sajo Hyun is very similar with Sieun so he just let him play it like that although I still believe they are quite different in some ways. You can tell that Sajo Hyun has this silly side while being tsundere while Sieun is just totally an empty person inside. Just by the fact that he can play the polar opposite(Akhee) of his one character (Sajo hyun/Sieun) already proves his range as an actor.

I believe she just watched some clips to pretend she watched the whole show so s/he can degrade it even more. Good thing s/he already said s/he dropped it because if s/he sees this comment it means s/he’s monitoring this page to troll.

Oh Please I read the Korean version and it is Cringe as hell. You probably did not feel it while reading the english version so you felt different. Love Revolution is cringe because the webtoon itself is cringe and that’s exactly the point of the story. It was meant to be “Cringe”. Some webtoon fans also questioned his casting as Yeon Sieun in Weak Hero before because he has a bright image as an idol but he proved he can turn into a different person when acting. honestly tired of people belittling his capability of absorbing and owning a character while pretending to be fans

It doesn’t matter if you don’t like his casting because no one forces you to like and watch the drama. they changed the plot. he is not a King in the drama. he is a crown prince and the youngest in the family. casting a young actor makes sense for the role so he suits it perfectly

The synopsis there is completely incorrect. Jun is
marketing administration student not economics student. It’s not a love triangle even in the webtoon because even though sobin is just a supporting character there she only had interactions with Yeo Jun. I dont know why Viki put wrong synopsis,, the offical synopsis is “ Drama series depicts the realistic worries and conflicts of university students in their 20's, centered around 3rd year student Yeo Joon. Even though Yeo Joon has an attractive appearance and comes from a wealthy background, he carries pain inside.”
