No la. they will release epi 31-36 on 2nd January for super vip. That means you have to pay extra in order to…
Due to the gaps between the series and how the adaptations don't connect with each other, I highly doubt that this is the end. Also, the series has 9 volumes. not including the unfinished sequels. This adaptation is only for volumes 5,6, and 7. So I believe there should be another one for volumes 8 and 9, plus any other sequels they want to adapt. A little spoiler from the books, the author leaves the readers hanging at the end (volume 9) so we might not get all our questions answered. However, the books are still ongoing, so who knows when and if the author will continue to write more.
It seems so but it's so much better in everyway possible
Reunion series is like 12 years later from the end of the main series (9 volumes, this is only volume 5,6, and 7). This is supposedly after lost tomb 2, however the adaptations don't connect smoothly from one season to another. So, its a yes and no, when you ask if it continues from the lost tomb 2. Website below explains the order pretty well, worth checking it out. https://strictlybromance.com/which-order-to-read-and-watch-dao-mu-bi-ji/
A feel good drama to watch that doesn't really have a complicated plot. Pretty simple plot, but the food. They made it look sooo good! It was an enjoyable watch.
Should I watch this without watching the prequels/other series???
You would still get the overall idea and can still follow the plot without watching the other series. However, watching the other series will really have you immersed in the small details of the story more and get why things are they way they are (somewhat). I watched all the other series, but only started to get the semi-full picture of the overall story after rewatching them and doing some google searches. The previous series ranged from okay to very good, but all of them were still enjoyable to watch.
Started watching this for zhang ge and wu xie bromance, but I end up falling in love with black and hua er duo…
OMG! Ikr. I'm really liking how there are more xiao ge and wu xie bromance in this drama than all previous ones. Also, I am quite surprised by hua er and black's interaction in this series as they don't really interact at all in other series, but I am loving it!
Cute little epilogue for those that love the couple and wanted more of them. The parts were pretty choppy, however since its not really a full drama its doable. Its available for all on iq's streaming website.
On ep 10 and so far I'm really enjoying the series. It kind of gives me the lost tomb or candle in the tomb vibes. I am not really a fan of horror and gets scared easily, however this is doable. The scariness leans more towards thriller scary, but for those that do get scared I would not suggest watching it at night. Based on what I've seen so far, I would recommend it for those that like the mystery thrillers mixed with case investigations.
I can't believe I put this off until now! I gotta say, they are my favorite crime solving trio. Also, I never expected my heart to go out to an eunuch so much! Also, I never expected crime fighting, humor, family, and seriousness to fit so well together in a drama. Their dinner scenes are so wholesome and food has such a big role in the drama! Some things might get a bit repetitive, but thats the point as it is all part of the grand scheme. I would definitely recommend this to those that may be a bit on the fence.
Will Wu Xie Live ??? or die at the end ?? I know it's not over yet but I'm hoping he lives despite all the events…
I have hopes that he will survive at the end of this series. I think there is something in Thunder City that will help him or lessen the severity of his condition. Maybe thunder has something to do with curing his illness.
Ep 16 already and why still so little screen time for ZQL ??? :'(Is he really a main role in this reboot ?
Well, he and HYJ did get separated from the group and presumed missing. I think ZQL will appear more in the second act of the drama which is ep 15-30. I just watched ep 16 and he definitely has more screen time since he reunited with Wu Xie in ep 15. Plus, iron triangle just started to go find Thunder City, so we will see him more in the upcoming episodes.
I feel like its more of a bitter-sweet ending. She doesn't meet up with 13th in the future, however she does meet up with a reincarnation of him that has no memories of her. I was so hoping for them to reunite, but nothing ever goes the way we want.
