Even after the drama has ended, I still watch my fav clips of our OTP once a day and listen to the OST all day. Sigh. Such is the power of Promise Cinderella and Issei/Gordon.
So far so good! Just the right balance between (budding) romance and comedy so far. I'm curious though as to why the ex did what he did 5 years ago and why he thought he could win her back now. I honestly didn't plan on watching this. Read an article about it and decided to give it a try. FF so many scenes in the 1st and 2nd episodes, only to go back and re watch everything :P. After that, I replayed JMH's cute/funny scenes at least once a day. KMJ is so adorkable as JMH. It helps a lot that he's also good looking :D IMO, his character really completes whatever Dali lacks and vice versa.
I watched 30:57 like 7 times? So cute and funny!!! Yoshitora and his comment about Hayame's training to be a wife followed by Issei's reaction is pure gold!

Like you, I'm going to miss PC after next week. Episode 8 was a gem but episode 9 really showcased Issei's maturity in this whole thing. The way he looks at Hayame when both of them were on that mismatched-couch. SWOON.
On another note, I hate what Kikuno said about Hayame to Issei at the end of episode 9. She's really EVIL!!! 2 things I hate most in this whole series - Kikuno & her taser.

Is it just me or Issei was rather hesitant to help Kinkuno get up? At first he appeared to be sorry and apologetic but once he saw that it was Kikuno who bumped into him, his facial expression changed. Issei was so quick to stop Kikuno from "seducing" him too. When he confronted Kikuno about Seigo, he was so spot on. Very perceptive of Issei! Calling Kikuno as a snake is so accurate considering what she had done so far. I'm proud of Issei for not falling into Kikuno's trap.
Btw, in one of the flashbacks (when Kikuno was spying Seigo & Hayame under the tree) I thought Kikuno was a ghost :P (just look at her hair!!!) Same with the previous flashback about her being bullied, her face wasn't clearly shown. I wonder whether this has to do with the theory that Kikuno used to be a "he," hence the name Akira.
So far, I'm really enjoying Issei's body language and expressions whenever he's with Hayame. He's so natural. When he told Hayame that she is pretty, you could totally see his disappointment when she just brushed it off. Poor Issei :(

Swoon! Plus, Etsuko and Yoshitora were super cute. They helped Hayame with the kimono and encouraged Issei to go for it (holding Hayame's hand). Are they team Issei? :P
I think Sakura (the part-timer) could probably help Issei to "protect" Hayaume based on the preview of ep. 9. She may know something important related to Kagami Akira/Kikuno. It's clear that she's smitten with Issei and was curious about Issei & Hayaume but I don't think she'll turn out to be another antagonist/villain like Kikuno. However, her presence may create temporary "misunderstanding" between Issei and Hayaume (the latter thinking that Issei is better off with Sakura than herself) until they can work things out.
It's been a while since I would keep track of what day it is (just so I know when I can watch my current fav dorama RAW or subbed). The last being Oh! My Boss! and that was a really fun and entertaining watch. When I chanced upon the 1st episode last month, I was like okay, this has potential but I wasn't really drawn into the characters. I think it was ep 5 onwards that I started to really get into PC. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!
