The contrast is deliberate to show the transformation of her identity change. However, it does not change the fact that she is being hunted by the evil stepkids who are after her life. Her life looked 180 degrees changed on the surface but underlying darkness of threat on her life remain unchanged and her mission to use herself as a bait to lure the killer out still exists for her to satisfy the terms of her contract. There are still a lot of unanswered questions surrounding some characters and their eventual impact on Busemi's survival. This is the peak of a thriller, creating the tension in an underlying layer that I constantly feel it despite the change in the visible setting. So I am thrilled and engaged.
