unsuspecting FL who follow "ML" to hotel because she likes "ML" and ML sells her to a creep who try to force FL into prostitution at high school . Not sure what to "misunderstand" here
Not only its disturbing and breach of faith, its a crime as well, FL could call the cops and ML and Creep will get arrested for forced prostitution. Any normal person goes through these kind of scenario will get scarred for life.

Antagonist says something along the lines of "its easy to say when you're not the victim" I think it fits for most of the people who complain about the FL selfish and reckless behavior here.
Its been a while but its nice to find an actress who can act, most k-drama actress only "talent" is just looking pretty. Antagonist character and actor is super good, you know how its going to end but still root for this person.

FL parents are already very poor but they adopt kids who are well fed, properly clothed, sheltered at orphanage to eating sample foods at supermarket for meal , dumpster diving, sending kids to collect trash to earn money. These kinds of stuff are considered child abuse/neglect and crime in all the countries.
These kids are malnutritioned and scavenging trash for cloths and toys and we are supposed to respect the FL parents for this? 🙄
These older drama are assume people are single cell organism and proceed to gaslight.
How do they get adoption process accepted in their living state? even if someone drops a child at your door you need to give it to relevant authority, because the child could be kidnapped some where or related to crime. when the adoptive dies the adoption process gets void and FL should legally sends the kids to orphanage, there are no single child welfare officer in entire drama.
>Romance worst part of the drama, three rich dudes relentlessly harassing homeless girl. FL quit working at bar because she was sexually harassed by people but same thing happens 24/7 at the home by these three dudes. She couldn't do anything about it because she has no where to go.

I think this is the 3rd older kdrama that romanticized serious sexual assault.
First 14 episodes are super good but remaining 50 episodes are same event repeating over and over again.
In the first few episode FL said that "she stopped crying in her early age because she doesn't like make people worry"
BUT she started crying at 15th episode never stops until last few minutes of 64th episode. She spend most of the screen time crying in every single episode, it was supper annoying . In the end i hated every single character.
Felt bad for the Ji Young in the end, she is the victim, her mother is abusive and had zero support from anyone, grows up in broken household, trying to survive all alone. Not sure why everyone blame/blackmail her for that creep fault. She should get a restraining order against that creep using her sexual assault case documents and call it a day.
ML is literally a creep and the villain of the drama who takes NO for an answer and tries to R*pe her, got beaten by cop, he got what he deserved, Blame Ji Young, make her looks like its all her fault. Nothing would happened if he moved on when Ji Young said no.
Did anyone noticed that all the prison inmates are black ?
His mom worst, she buys a "foreign bride" to appease her creepy son like buying a doll for a crying child. His mom approve adolescent playboy because he is rich but reject 30 year old daughter because he is poor. Not to mention she treats her aunt like trash, she has money to buy a bride and carry a grand wedding for creep son but don't have money to lent 41 old aunt to marry at some shady hotel.
show starts with dad jumping from a running train for his daughter and show ends with daughter call him "dad"

ML is not a rich ceo with cold personality, childhood trauma. FL is not a candy girl who wait for some knight in shining armour to save her. They didn't meet as child. so most kdrama fans didn't like it
ML is a divorcee alcoholic hobo and FL runs a shady newspaper business, they both commit all kind of crimes under the sun, they don't do it for fun or justice. There are no quirky characters like hacker ajumma, mary sue side kick ect.
Antagonist is a supernatural being. he defy physics, time, space, can appear at multiple places at once, becomes invisible, able to move faster than light speed, has power to manipulate electricity, human shape electronic jamming device, able to manipulate matter on a molecular level and the list goes on.
If you plan to watch just think antagonist is some supernatural being and everything will make sense.
Remaining cast is dumber than bag of rocks, its plausible if the show is set on 1960s or movie.
