I am all for not blaming the victim but she was a "leopards ate my face" case. she was some random gold digger who tries to take advantage of his popularity, she willingly went with him knowing his "reputation". She tried to kill everyone out of her own guilt rather that what he did to her.
in the end she couldn't even go to police, reporter or post anonymously on SNS because she knows that she will also goes jail for solicitation.

Story and character traits disappeared, sudden romance, lot of continuous shot of actor/actress walking/standing/looking at the sky ect for no reason. Cunning and powerful judge became single cell organism.
Court/law scenes are cringe. people fighting inside the court room over hour but not a single cop showed up, hitman and human trafficking handler plead guilty for assassination of sitting mayor at open court because his mom might disappointed at him 🙄.

FL family is seamless parasitic leechers until the last episode, when they kicked out of the family they go to the orphan girl (she spend her entire life saving to get that place after living as homeless person for many years) and lives off her, they fight in her shop and made customers leave, made her house looks like a pig sty because of the all the screeching and mudslinging fight. Just because FL wears glasses doesn't make a mature or smart.

ML could be a antagonist and very bad person compared to him because he spend 8 long years obsessing over someone who doesn't even like him and firmly rejected him multiple times, most people would get a restraining order in these scenario.
The scene where he forcefully grabbed the sister's hand make her eat dinner with him was really disturbing made him looks worse then the husband.

Alfred Nobel is wrong example here, none tried to kill alfred nobel but these "people" already tried to kill her multiple times before and even add slow poison to her water.
They put her in coma for multiple years(+ planed to kill her at the end), they slept, eat, lived well with their family, all these years they never though about the suffering they are causing to FL for a single second, they never had single drop of empathy.
Showing them mercy or sending them to prison is like helping wounded snakes, they will bite again when they gain the strength.
I think you didn't like this drama because most revenge kdrama ends with forgiving and fluffy/fantasy ending but this one actually ends with seeking revenge.
