She was definitely a really strong character! She was really genuine too, which is always pleasing to watch. Not all self-righteous or thinking she’s smarter than everyone else. She worked well with her team & contributed a LOT to their investigations. Definitely the type you’d want on your side 🤗

I understand how Chinese dramas take more of a time commitment since they have so many more episodes. If you’re ever able to start watching them, though, you’ll find some truly great dramas :)

I agree - definitely don’t go into this expecting a serious drama. (‘Cause you’re right - who pays a lawyer fee with potatoes?! Haha!!) And yeah, the eggs thing. That all made her character such an inconsistency - she’s so tough, like you said, but yet she can’t defend herself in that moment? Didn’t make sense to me.

I also think the ML defending her is normal. And admirable. I’d be disappointed in him if he hadn’t stood up for her! I’m not a fan of ML’s who allow their significant other to be bullied in whatever way without doing anything to help her, whether she “needs” his help or not. <3
