If grim reaper was the king, why has his face changed and why couldn't the goblin recognize him as a king?
Technically he is a divine being as a grim reaper, not a reincarnation, so the rules of reincarnation may not apply to him. When the King ordered to kill Kim Shin, he was almost a child king, just 17 yrs old Korean age (16 in Western age). When Kim Shin was turned into a goblin and went back to the palace, we see that the King is now dead but his body has been covered. I am speculating that it might be many years after he got Kim Shin killed so it is possible the King lived up to his mid thirties. If the adult King looked like Lee Dongwook, the Goblin had no way of knowing since the King's body was wrapped up(?) when he finally got to the palace. Being unable to meet the adult version of the King, if the adult version does look like Grim Reaper, then its natural the Goblin was unable to recognize....just my speculations

Remember that ep where they say you reincarnate differently? You can even reincarnate with a different gender (the scene where they were watching IOI and IKON). With this, writer had allowed a rule where you can reincarnate with a different physical appearance.

Best Asian romance movie of 2015 that's for sure. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was as I was not expecting it. I was amazed by how strong the romance was despite the leads never even hugging throughout the film. It was a nice touch that proved kissing scenes are not a must if you have a well-written story and brilliant actors who successfully evoke their young but pure love.

Gutted that this drama had to end. It could have gone on for forever and I would still be watching. It was that beautiful.
