I’ve watched Dear Herbal Lord (especially ep8@rice being cooked) and Backstreet Rookie (ep 6 @ piggyback dream) for great laughters in between weekends waits and heavy emotion overloads from L&R.

Sorry, but still got nothing to do with jealousy. He’s destroying SF twice (and many times more in the next few episodes) because SF is in the way of XJ’s unfeeling mantra training. To be trained in that mantra and achieve mission assigned as well as past the life trial, XJ MUST NOT be emotionally attached to anything. He is Manipulative as hell - so stabbing himself and talking his way through so all other sect leaders sided with him - the writer is clearly depicting to the audience how controlling this character is.

I’m not being too serious. And it cannot be envy as XJ isn’t SF’s yet. They’re trying to be together but no one is letting them. They’re not together yet. So to me, sorry but it isn’t envy.

Guys! Stop saying HC is ‘jealous’. There’s no ‘jealousy’ in this narcissistic, egotistic character. Possessive, obsessive and angry because he’s not getting what he wanted - yes - but never ‘jealous’. When you’re jealous, it implies there’s love involved. His character he portrayed knows and understands no love. There’s not even distorted love in him, it’s all about possession and obsessions. Over and over again he sees XJ as an object for heaven’s sake!!

Ditto Amanda, ditto. Love to see him rot in prison. Especially how he cold-heartedly torture XJ like he did... his ‘jealousy’ wasn’t cute at all. I’m so bias I know, but I can’t help but vent my anger by skipping his scenes LoL

Nah I doubt he has any feelings for XJ. he was shocked, a bit upset and disappointed coz XJ turned down his marriage proposal in front of her father, Aunty and master - yeh - but then and again, any egotistic men would feel these things after being rejected. Look at SF, he got rejected so many times (heck even got killed by her heartlessly 9 times in their past lives), but he still put her above his ego and emotions aside to do everything to understand her.

Yeh man! After talking to Si Ming and told SM that he will go for plan B this time since plan A of unfeeling mantra isn’t working. After that he went to XJ’s father and manipulate his way into getting a marriage proposal with XJ as if that marriage proposal was XJ’s father idea in the first place.... that’s the scene where my TV nearly fell off from its wall socket and got in trouble because I threw the pillow so hard at HC. I loathe his character so much!

Chillax folks, the ending is a happy one. Otherwise I wouldn’t be watching it either.

HC only offer marriage coz he couldn’t control XJ with the unfeeling mantra/training. Marriage is like his other resort for controlling and manipulating XJ. HC is a narcissistic as****e like that.

Who is JJ? I don’t think SF is the son of the heavenly emperor. HC is one of the heavenly emperor (apparently a small/lower heavenly emperor, I personally however not too sure about this coz usually there’s only one on the throne).
