I've been watching this too but watching it lightheartedly -- because the stalker-ish part of it would be too…
i love both songs they are so fun. it's amazing how his behavior push's the stalkery behavior but never crosses it, at least so far

I really want to watch this, but I'm going to wait until it's fully subbed. I already know waiting for subs each…
i have no idea how i ended up watching currently airing dramas. and Japanese ones too. i don't even know who i am anymore. but i am having fun with this one. it's not serious so no cliffhangers so the waiting isn't bad.

Might I suggest, though, tweaking the title a bit to The Evolution of Strong Female Leads In KDramaland since…
well, i was planing on a part 2 for the other countries but i am a bit stuck with the recs right now.

i am not sure but i think you want to say that you don't like dramas ending with both of them together?! and it…
please use spoiler tag with long comments so it wont hinder others :) .
this isn't A LIST, people keep saying that and i in no way said so. this is a look on how strong women were shown in kdrama in the last decade and how that look evolved.
also, as i told you before how and what are strong women irl or in cultures is a totally different conversation. a third conversation would be the korean rating of dramas which was low for some of these btw.
your definition of strong women is quite limited but we all have different opinions and that's okay :) the most important thing is for women not to judge other women cause the world does too much of that already. i think dramas like avenger's social club, search WWW, when the camellia bloom and because this is my first life, might fit in your definition, i am not sure since romance is about the relationship for both the ml and the fl. anyway i hope you find something you like.
btw in SG (not saying it was perfect, it had many flaws just correcting your memory) the SL was just a teacher to her, and she was a fan of the singer which is very healthy and natural cause that was all there is, she didn't really try to date him or anything over the top, she joked around and they became friends. having a favorite person or a friend is good, who cares what their gender is. :)

this is about dramas and as i said before not the actual culture or irl society cause as i told you before that's a very very different conversation. also the korean rating for some of these was very law but that is a third conversation.
i can see your definition of strong women is somewhat limited than others but that's okay we all have different opinions :)). i think things like avenger's social club, search www and when the camellia bloom might fit in your definition but i am not sure (which is what i hinted in the article that these dramas were the evolution of the old ones).
btw in secret garden the SL was a teacher to her nothing more, also she was a fan of the singer and she liked to joke with that, that's it, she didn't even try to date him or anything as other fans would if they got the chance. (am not saying it was perfect it had flaws, am just setting record straight).

her strength was fictional and physical. she wanted to get rid of it most of the drama. her character strength…
nothing is wrong with it. i mentioned female leads known for it. but i meant fictional as in fictional. she wasn't typically strong she had super powers and she hated them. and as you said she became strong in the end (developed with the plot). she wasn't strong despite having these powers but became strong that's the whole message of the drama, as far as i remember.

BIG THANKS for everyone who read and commented on the article. i just want to remind you all that this isn't a list of the strong women in the decade but how their representation evolved through the decade.
the first paragraph has a link to the strong female lead tag, so feel free to check them out.

please do mention other dramas to help fans check them out and if you can make sure they are tagged with the Strong Female Lead tag in their drama pages, because some dramas you mentioned are sadly missing the tag.

Uh... the female lead of Stranger, for instance? I wish you hadn't just picked rom coms, 'cause however strong…
her strength was fictional and physical. she wanted to get rid of it most of the drama. her character strength came with the story development.
