ML and FL are really cute, it is too bad there is not more focus on their romance [this could have been solved by giving us more episodes, at least two... I have been spoiled by the longer cdramas I have been watching], but what we got was really special.
I also enjoyed the humor here, and honestly, I wanted more of it [The NIS supporting trio were really goofy and funny]. I am a big Gaus Electronics fan and Welcome to Waikiki was quite funny, so I vibe with nonsensical humor in kdramas.
By the way, this is a rare instance where the antagonist in a kdrama is as interesting as the leads to me, the chairwoman was so unhinged and evil in a fun way. Watching her lose her goddamn mind as the plot progressed was great. The principal was great too, loved the scene where he beats the living shit out of the bully's father.
Are there any break ups [or annoying love triangles] in Go Go Squid? It is a 40 episodes drama, I need to know before I decide to watch or not watch it.
Asking the important questions. The existence of prominent love triangles or stupid breakups [especially months long or even year long ones] are always important to me before starting a drama.
I never felt so disconnected from a drama after watching a number of episodes. I cannot say it is bad, since I am not going to finish it, but it does have a lot of stuff I dislike, such as leads taking forever to properly meet, creepy 40 to 50 years old dude hitting on the 20 something years old FL, the ML friends being obnoxious manchildren, the gaming scenes are boring, the weird roleplay scenes that are not actually happening in reality [they should have gone with a virtual reality angle instead imo] feel like a waste of time, etc. Such a shame, because I was really curious about how the leads' relationship eventually develops.
The FL is extremely charming and gorgeous [that smile!!], and I also love her fashion style... However, she is selfish as FUCK. If you do not want to make adjustments to your life plans, maybe do not play with other people's emotions. ML was spineless and honestly, deserved better.
im sorry but FL naivety taking care of his boss on a personal level will cause misunderstanding i feel sorry for…
THANK YOU! I feel so vindicated. The FL was fine before she and the ML started dating, but things went downhill FAST after they got together. I really dislike her :(
FL in episode 18: "Am I really a bad girlfriend?" ML: "No." Me: "Yes!"
I love when leads get together, only to have 30 seconds of screen time together each episode, because of stupid work culture [gotta work from 7 am to 11 pm everyday or else you are not a diligent member of society]. Mhmm, it really makes my day.
Is it wrong to want more romance and less work propaganda in my romance drama? I really wish the FL stayed in the hospital somehow, at least the leads could spend more time together.
I think "Love Me, Love My Voice" really spoiled me because Gu Sheng and Mo Qincheng are like, glued to each other, and clingy little me loved watching them together >_<

Jisan Goose was the best character.
