FUN AND COMFORTING❤️❤️❤️
Plot is wacky with the whole ghosts stuff but I think it’s a very entertaining idea that gets the characters closer to each other. This show is full of silly cuddling and cute scenes like there’s fan service every episode I’m obsessed kicking my feet and giggling the whole time (I’m a dude btw). Characters have such amazing chemistry and are adorable together. Genuinely the most comforting BL I’ve ever watched that just makes my heart feel full and happy!I hope they star together in another project one day this show was too cute !!!!

Thankfully Escaped The Ban
I’ve been yearning for a beautiful story like this one for quite some time. The chemistry between the characters is top tier and will go down as one of my favorite couples ever for their stunning performance. Their love story will have you captivated with your heart burning through every development. It was heartwarming to learn about the characters complex realistic struggles and how they lick each other’s wounds, caring for each other through thick and thin. The ending made me happily tear up because I was so relieved we got a satisfying ending after all the hurdles in the characters ways. Don’t forget to watch past the outro of the last episode as there’s some text and extra scenes.
I haven’t felt this captived by a series since 2016’s Addicted. Don’t know how they managed to escaped the ban after a short hiatus but I’m so relieved they got every episode out and left my heart full and happy.
Definietly something I’ll rewatch in the future as this beautiful story is one that will stay with me!

Truly Devastated That Nothing Compares
Never in the probably a 100 BL's I've watched have I seen seen chemistry like that of main characters Bao Luo Yin and Gu Hai. It's truly unmatched how these rookie actors pulled off such a burning complex romance. If you haven't heard, this show was cancelled early and the last few episodes will never see the light of day. Nonetheless, I'm grateful we at least made it to episode 15 as it includes a scene that fills me with hope and solidifies their love story, erasing any doubt to be had on their love for each other.
The music(OST) is very underated as it includes a few songs sung by one of the main characters and even a song with both main characters on it. The soft melodic soundtrack blends right in with the setting of a small peaceful town in the countryside. The star of the OST is a heartwarming song played on the final episode during the very special scene that matches the characters complex romance so perfectly and puts you right in your deepest feels.
I'm writing this review many years after watching this show as it's yet to be forgotten in my mind. Truly a stain on my heart the real life situation around the show vs the government but I'd never regret the burning warmth I feel watching Addicted. I reccomend reading the novel afterwards as it’s a beautiful story with a satisfying ending, though TW because it has some darker moments on the way there.
