The global trainees that got screentime were mostly evil edited. E.g Seok Matthew, Krystian....
Yeah exactly. I wrote that they either did not get screentime or they were evil edited. Krystian was one of the trainees who spoke a little korean. I believe that was one of the reasons why the screentime he got was evil edits. Plus we all know mnet does not want chinese trainees
Matthew certainly didn't want this screen time and what he got after that he didn't deserve.
Yeah ofc. Mnet does not prefer the global trainees but i do believe that they rather have matthew have screentime than some of the others. But nevertheless he definitely did not deserve his evil edit
I noticed something about this program. So basically after the first elimination there were less trainees meaning the screentime should have been more equal after that. But as we all know msnake has their faves so many trainees got left out. I noticed most of those who were not getting screentime or were getting evil edited were global trainees who does not speak good korean (wang zihao, hiroto, zhang shuaibo). The only global trainees who got screentime were the ones who actually spoke korean. This is really fucked up from mnets side. I mean they recruit trainees from all over the world but will only focus on those who excel in korean. The global trainees with the most screentime were basically Haruto, Keita, Yuehua trainess and matthew (kamden and jay occasionally). And what do all of them have in common? They all speak a good amount of korean. They all do deserve the screentime they were getting but giving screentime based on their language skills is just messed up. Wang Zihao was easily the best dancer there but of all things, his poor korean is what got him eliminated? fuck you mnet
Question to those that have seen the live Mnet with the first save aka. Park Hanbin (truly happy for him, well-deserved…
No, he is just the highest ranking trainee from that team outside the top 9. 18 trainees will survive in total so there are still 7 spots after rank 11 (in which jongwoo hopefully gets a spot)
I really hope that switch will showcase Jong Woo properly ^^ It is my favorite in Boys Planet and I m a bit concerned…
Yeah.. i do think it was a shame to kick him out since he did so much for them, but as someone who really wants jongwoo in the top 9, i think he would have been overshadowed in over me. In switch i think he would be able to stand out more. I also really want to see more of his duality (which is one reason as to why i'm glad I got to see a new side of him in Home instead of love killa). I already saw him do a sexy song in the second episode, so i want to see what else he is capable of cause i'm pretty sure he is gonna slay either way
sung han bin keep trying his best, he show such vocal quality in tomboy and trying to take leader position for…
he definitely has shown a lot but i just feel like many viewers tend to forget his talent and just see him as mother. i will admit i shouldn't really be complaining since he does get a lot of screentime anyways. I just wish to see more compliments about his talents rather than his ships
This may be an unpopular opinion but i am kinda glad that jongwoo isn't in over me. Other than being an amazing leader I just don't see him in that type of concept + he is a rapper. I mean jeonghyeon literally had to add his own rap (good thing that the guy is also a decent singer) but jongwoo has a low tone. He wouldn't be able to go that high as the song kinda requires him to so him being in switch definitely makes a lot of sense to me (and i think supercharger would have been a good fit for him as well). I hope this performance showcases him cause then he might even have a chance in the top9.
Another thing i wanna add is that Mnet needs to stop this evil editing. Like give us the practice clips and them having fun. Also i need Mnet to focus more on shanbins talents instead of his ships. I know this may sound petty since we all know that this boy is going to debut but other than ep 1 he has never been complemented for his talents by the masters. It's always oh you got the killing part again, nice, and then moving on. I know we all love his friendship with both zhang hao and matthew but at this point it's has literally become his whole identity. I feel like tiktok is the only place giving him attention for his dancing. But it's sad that his whole reason for his popularity is mainly because of the stuff he has done outside the show. I know it's sad that he kinda had to deyassyfy himself because of korean standards but i hope mnet will give him more applause for his talents rather than just having a cute friendship with other contestants
Matthew needs our votes right now more than ever. Knetizens are most likely gonna stop voting after his evil edit so his fate is on the global votes right now. I really don't want him to have the same fate as Yurina so he needs to remain in the top 9
this show is still rigged. They can change the name of the show, change mentors and create a new image but we…
Tbh, I don't think that is the case for Hui. BP is being watched very closely to make sure that the rigging does not happen again + I think in Hui's case, he doesn't seem to be as popular as people think when it comes to voting. I have seen many say that they won't vote for hui because of him being in Pentagon already. I will admit, he used to be in my top 9 as well but I just seem to have found other trainees that I think would be a better fit for this group. I honestly hope that he makes it out of this show with a lot of new fans that will give him and hopefully also Pentagon a new chance to succeed.
So with the 2nd elimination officially being over, I thought I would come and share my updated top 9. Last mission really made my whole fav list change but as of now I think i have my top 9. (none of these are in any particular order except number 1)
1. Zhang Hao - My ride or die. He is so talented and i hope he gets to keep his killing part in Over Me. 2. Sung Hanbin - I honestly do not see anyone else on that center position other than him. He was just born to be a center. 3. Yoon Jongwoo - I have slowly fallen for him over the last couple of episodes. I wasn't completely sold in Back Door but Home definitely did it for me. 4. Keita - Not gonna say much about him other than he is a must for this group. 5. Seok Matthew - We need Mattbin to debut together. Also he is so talented. It would be a waste not to include him. 6. Jay - I want to hear his voice even more 7. Haruto - Loved him on Loud, still love him here 8. Kim Taerae - Just like Jongwoo, i wasn't sold on any of the earlier episodes but his Man in Love fancam has been on repeat the last couple of days. 9. Han Yujin - I don't really know why I like him so much. He has just always had a place in my top 9.
Honourable mentions (Trainees not in my top 9, but I wouldn't be mad if they debuted) Park Gunwook Kim Jiwoong Cha Woongki Na Kamden Ricky Kum Junhyeon Park Hanbin Yoo Seungeon
You are literally misunderstanding this whole situation. They are allowed to change the individual part but they…
Listen, I always watch this show as objectively as possible. This whole part change thing was already touched on in the G-group Kill This Love performance. They wanted to give Min more parts but they were not allowed. Why? Because that just how the producers and mnet distributed the parts. When Jingxiang wanted to change the part, Jongwoo had no choice but to give him the cold, simple answer that it was not possible. And like you say yourself, Jingxiang is not stupid. He should know by now that changing parts is not allowed in this competition. I don't know how else Jongwoo was supposed to handle the situation. Jingxiang is an adult who should be able to take rejection. None of them needs fans that baby them or starts attacking others when they are following the rules of the competition
JINGXIANG FOREVER *it contains spoi fyi im done with this show. jingxiang deserved better. jongwoo was being rude…
You are literally misunderstanding this whole situation. They are allowed to change the individual part but they can't change whose part it is. If a certain part is assigned for sub vocal 3, then sub vocal 3 has to do that specific part. That is just how this kind of show works. So before you start hating, maybe try and understand the situation. Jongwoo is a great leader. He is literally trying to create better teamwork but you must understand that some rules can simply not change.
I have a question to people who are against Hui being part of the show. Is the problem:a. his fame/already having…
I personally think that Hui being a solo artist would work better for him than being in a new group. And even though I don't think you can be too old to debut, I'm just worried that we get a group where we have a guy born in 1993 and one born in 2007. The age gap is just too big and i would rather have some new faces in the industry. Another problem I have is the advantage he is getting. (to add more info, I also did not see yujin making Kep1er), I think @Kai used the right words. It's like he's stealing candy from a child. The last thing is that I'm not ready to see pentagon go and I'm lowkey hoping that he makes it to the final episode, gets eliminated, returns to pentagon and make them succesful again. Pentagon is an amazing group that shouldn't be given up on this easily.
