i really like watching toxic and messed up stuff so this was right up my alley. the only thing i don't like is that the writers suddenly started to redeem all characters. so i understand redeeming ming, but tong and ming's dad? really? i think the writers forgot that main antagonists rarely deserves to be redeemed. and doing all of that in the span of two episodes honestly just felt like a filler. i honestly wish that they just ended this show after ep 10 so we wouldnt have to deal with the unnecessary plot of redeeming unworthy characters.
its a good one but at what episode does it get better? like without any toxicity
i definitely think we slowly start to see ming's redemption arc around ep 9 (after he figures out that new joe is old joe), but tbh he still shows traits of being obsessive throughout the whole show so i wouldnt say that any episode is completely free from toxicity.
yes, but its SFLit has not been obvious yet, but i can see the ml fallingnah, most of the characters are well…
jihan is the ml. dohan is sml but he is gay so therefore, he is not a part of the love triangle. he is just in a contract marriage with the fl to avoid an arranged marriage to the sfl and to hide the fact that he is gay (i haven't read the manhwa tho but this is what i got from the first 4 episodes, and i have been told that the sml will not fall for the fl + the male leads are brothers so no romance there either). But so far in the drama, we know that sfl is interested in the ml.
i actually find i quite amazing that they managed to do a remake of a show that originally has 40 episode and make it even more draggy despite only having 16.. i did not go into this with high expectations since it's a remake but they still let me down...
this started off quite well but afterwards i didn't quite vibe with the changes that they made in this one compared to the original. Yang and Mint are definitely the biggest disappointment I have. In the chinese version they were my favourites. However i think Esther Yu just added special flair to Cai Minmin that Emma just doesn't justify. I also don't really get the changes that Yangs character has. It honestly made him unlikable
I've been hooked on C-dramas for a last years...trying to give k-dramas a chance now and then, but always drop…
As someone who has not really been interested in any of the newer kdramas and as someone who like you have kinda turned away from kdramas in favor of thai, chinese and japanese, i think this one is quite good so far. However, i do think that maybe you should wait until it has finished airing. i dont think waiting every week for a new kdrama is going to get you back into them. while this is airing tho i can very much recommend twinkling watermelon. it's the first kdrama that i watched in a while and i definitely think it was amazing!!
Youku is something else when is comes to romance dramas. In my 4 years of watching cdramas I have only rated 2 dramas a 10/10 and both of them are from youku!!
I really like it so for. It's very cliche tho but the chemistry between the two makes it really good. You do not have to watch OWGM. This is a completely different story just with the same lead characters
People voted for good looks, tall figure and long legs.
All of the last trainees were all super talented. Saying people voted for looks and not talent is just wrong. Nobody didn't deserve the spot that they got
Looking the rankings, this would have been the perfect 12 member group. Jay, Phanbin and Keita. It really is a shame that none of them made it, but I'm still pretty satisfied with this group. 6/9 of my picks made it and my one pick ranked first. So happy for all of them
