Don't read this spoiler next unless you want your dislike for that problem to be solved and spoiled.
oh my God I'm so glad I read that spoiler!!! I'm definitely going to pick this back up and will probably enjoy it more knowing that!!! thank you I'm actually so glad you said that because I love a good spoiler!!
SPOILER FOR EP 3: I saw it coming but I didn’t want him to of been the one to drink the love spell potion. only because I wanted his feelings for her to grow naturally.(END SPOILER) I think I’m going to pause on this one tonight and maybe try again tomorrow. cause so far it’s pretty good it’s just not drawing me in as much as I thought it would idk how to explain it…
I can actually think of a handful of male leads who have had boyfriends before... usually in those it's about…
Unintentional love story - ex-boyfriend shows up
New employee - specifies they are both gay and one of the main characters has had multiple ex boyfriends.
Light on me I don't think there are any ex's but it does (from what I recall it's been a minute since I watched) have a nice portrayal of both gay and bisexual characters.
Grey shelter- idk if this counts but when the male lead are talking one specifies that he sleeps with men
Lovemate if I remember correctly the show starts off with him scrolling through a dating app with just male suitors and going on a date with a male. Don't quote me on that tho because it has been a minute since I watched
Now this is only like 5 shows out of dozen that I can remember at the top of my head and I agree and think there needs to be an end to "I don't like men just you" like I never understood why they would make a character say that instead of 1 having them discover their bisexuality or 2 they already previously known they are gay/bisexual or pan or something. Feels like they go out of their way to avoid labeling characters specific things. Which I know not everyone likes to be labeled or some people don't identify with just one thing, but really so many bl dramas and yet barely any characters who admit they are attracted to men alongside women without using that cliche "I don't like men only you" or "I don't care about gender".. sometimes it feels like they'll add any random plot that makes no sense before adding in a character mentioning their sexuality.
the ending of episode 3 actually stressed me out😭😭.. I am loving this drama, but I think I'm going to wait until at least the next 2 or 3 episodes are released before continuing..
guys i thought this was gonna be a silly cute hs romance but there was so much homophobia and SA!!! actually i…
I thought this was going to be really good cause everywhere I was seeing people talk about it they were saying it was good😭... like the other commenter said love for loves sake is so much better than this... I came into this with high expectations and was disappointed..
the last episode had me in my feelings.. When Almond didn't go with them I cried. cause you could tell in his heart he really wanted to go and with him saying back and forth contemplating, but the farm was all he ever knew... it really pulled at my heart strings.. I can't even be mad at him for betraying them cause he really did want to protect his brothers I just don't think he fully knew how so betraying them was his best option if you know what I mean.... and when we got the time skip of 4 years my hope for a season 2 felt non existent considering such a big time jump.. felt like it was gonna be that but then they showed the scene of Chanels mom finding them and Sons dad I believe it was.... oooo I need more😭😭 I do wish we got to see a quick scene of the producer with her wife and their son during the time skip... anyway now I'm just ranting away about the show and will stop...
i genuinely didn't expect to enjoy this show as much as I did!!! I would definitely recommend this as a must watch. it was so much better than I thought it was going to be and more complex which I liked!!!
I actually liked this remake! In my opinion I think it did a nice job showing the 2 different couples an almost equal amount of screen time! which I liked because if I remember correctly when I watched the original I wanted to see more of Zon and safaih then we got. (character names Lee won and Ji Oh in this version) so it was nice that there was a decent amount of both couples.
I am a little confused about the end scene of the drama where the doctor meets a girl that looks like her. I at first thought that it was telling us the experiment was a success and she had a twin sister also going through what she did. however then I thought about how Ro Hee gave the doctor a list of more than 1 place so then is it really just a twin or is it possible that multiple copies of Ro Hee werw scientifically create to also under go the experiment.. I'm not sure😭😭 hoewever I do believe the experiment was a success considering Ro Hee warned the doctor that no genius is happy and she should think about what her daughter would want. that felt like her indirectly implying that although the experiment was a success she can choose to not put her daughter through it.
This drama felt like a home with no heat to me.. like even though it's cold it's where I sleep so it brings me comfort in a way... I would definitely recommend this to people looking for something to watch!!!
I originally was never going to watch this movie because of the student teacher relation and it being centered around an affair, but just threw it on recently anyway. it took me a bit to get through it cause it had me stressed so I had to pause the movie for a bit. all in all it's a decent watch I probably wouldn't watch it again but for a 1 and done it's alright.
i honestly don't think I'm gonna finish this drama. the only reason I stuck through it as far as I have is because I'm watching it with my dad and he likes it. but I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as I hoped to would, so I'll pass on the rest of the episodes.
it had everything it needed to be a HUGE kdrama, but it seems like the writer got lost in the story, it's like…
I genuinely have to agree with you here. we have so many stories going on and for what... It feels like their trying to shove too much stuff in a tiny space. we barely know things about characters who are supposed to be important to the story (the police officer) and focused a decent amount of screen time on people who could disappear from the story and it not matter (Fake Namsoon). and the romance isn't really hitting like I thought it would. heck I'm over here rooting for the villain because it would be more exciting then the romance we have😭
it might just be me but I find myself a little bored while watching this... and I don't really anticipate the next episode to be released every week. I'm not gonna lie I'm only going to continue watching for Ryu Shi Oh. I thought I would like the romance more then I do. like the Main couple is cute and all but again I find myself a little bored. It feels like the romance was just thrown at us there wasn't really much of a build up. which isn't that bad for people who like that but personally I really like a good build up for romance..
