same I really liked this and honestly I liked the imperfect complex characters they each had a different problems and different villains in their lives.. I really liked it..
i fear I would defend these characters like my life depends on it.. do I think the cheating was necessary? no not really we could've left your girl than got your man, but at the same time the biggest problem with their relationship was the refusal to communicate with each other.. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable by bringing up the situation and she was literally just waiting for him to bring it up. they were at a stand still in their relationship refusing to move forward or cut ties, but now with him cheating the conversation can't be avoided anymore.. they could finally decide what exactly to do with the relationship which was to end it.. and personally I don't think it was just 2 horny men who wanted sex, I mean yes but no.. cause if sex was all they wanted they could've cheated with any stranger
I do think the girlfriend was a little selfish not telling him she's asexual (I'm not even sure if she knows) but I can't hate her for it. that is such a hard thing to bring up to someone, especially someone you love. And she did love him which is why she didn't want to bring it up because she didn't want to lose him, which is were I think it wasn't fair of her to not tell him.. if you want a life partner and you know they have needs/wants like sex and you know you can't provide them with that you need to have a conversation so we can figure out what's best for us.. and going into the relationship she knew how it was going to play out because of her past relationships
as for me. childhood friend he pissed me all the way off I get that he was feeling immense amounts of guilt throughout the years, but for it to just be over him saying hello the the parents before they died, I'm sure a therapist could've helped him with that... like bro fr? I'm probably being a little insensitive about the situation so for that I do apologize...
All in all their relationships with their partners failed because the lack of communication.. which is why I think they do so well together they talk!! they are so open with each other and that's exactly what they need
I actually really enjoyed this drama even though I went into it thinking I wasn't gonna like it.... I feel like to really enjoy and understand this drama you have to watch it under surface level.. you have to dig deeper into the drama, into the characters.. because I feel like if you watch this without looking deeper you'll leave just thinking "oh I don't like cheating" when it's way more than that... (this is a personal opinion tho)
