Yeah same here with the connection between tang yuan and wonton but maybe tang yuan are sweet dumplings and so a kind of wonton? Not sure xD

haha it's both. Lead couple scenes are too cheesy but the creepy/stalkerish/manipulative tendencies of the ML with the FL also become obvious as the story progresses. I just couldn't bother with them tbh and just watched the scenes of best boy Chu Yan xD
