You know the feeling, when you watch the trailer/start the show, and you know it's gonna be that kind of chinese drama, one that can move you and have impact , that is more Real - not the one that build on too much comedy/over-acted scenes/sometimes not very real-life. Chinese dramas like this one (or amidst a snowstorm of love for example), with more serious/mature acting and execution (meaning this in a positive way) should have a dedicated tag. Tried searching for the suitable word and tag but cannot find it:/
I might be the only one finding it annoying how the FL talks. She also did it in LBFAD so guess it's her style...or Chinese culture finds it attractive, I'm not sure. But it gets on my nerves. Actually, call me mean, but her whole weird cute acting annoys me. Sorry everyone
Chen Du Ling role is always toxic relationship 🤦. In other dramas too...
Looking forward to this drama! Like the main actors. As to Chen Du Ling, I'm not sure if she really is considered a junior and can be happy to receive roles, or just cannot choose dramas well:D But do hope this new drama will have quality
I soo wanted this drama to be a pleasant surprise. It wasn't unfortunately. Dropped it. Usual MO: childish characters. No grown-up person acts like people in these type of Chinese dramas. Is this really what's popular in their culture? Personally, these shows are secondhand embarrassment:(
Stopped watching at episode 25, leads have a very toxic relationship in my opinion. Making unreasonable and stupid decisions, not communicating or talking out problems, getting physical and I could go on.....
Why are silly, childish female lead characters still a trend in China? Maybe because I'm European, but these kind of FL characters are really annoying and make dramas unenjoyable:(
Overall the drama was good. Didn't really like FL's acting in many scenes though :/ Maybe it was because I felt like she didn't articulate and her way of talking annoyed me
kingsqueen'd review is spot on! It was a unique drama with many genres put together. Personally I couldn't really take the thriller scenes too seriously because of the light-hearted romcom I could feel through the whole show, even though they were well-written. Also have to mention the music - best ever. PHS and PBY are also the perfect cast for their characters. And, really, I was just DYING FROM THE CUTENESS of the show! ML and FL were so so super adorable-I can't even find the words. Re-watched the drama many times because of their sweet acting
