Guys, the adaptation isn't worth it, even people who did watch it rated it poorly, just look up JP ratings.
Take an L and hope this series either gets a proper adaptation instead of this embarrassment or an anime(very unlikely).

As someone who likes the manga, I can admit first volume was far from perfect in terms of pacing BUT what kept me invested was Asami's character: he was confident in his sexuality and even when Yuki told him it was a "waste" for him to be gay after he came out to him, he just smirked. He was also clearly experienced, Yuki was far from his first time.
The drama committed character assassination and turned him into an average insecure virgin.

So the fact drama tried to remove some LGBT themes in favour of making yet another "two inexperienced dudes get together" story, it just made both leads less grounded compared to what they were. And of course we have an extended miscommunication, a cherry on top.

Manga gets released in print next month, try it out. First volume's pacing is very fast but it becomes much less chaotic starting from second volume. It's worth it just for Hayama being very chill and having confidence radiating from himself.
