“Jirisan” is so unique and unmatched:
- the mountain is a beautiful character
-the drone footage and outside scenes are a work of art. It shows the beauty and harshness of nature in all seasons.
If you like the actors - Kim Eun Hee’s “Kingdom” uses some of the Same actors
- “Live” is similar in honoring the teamwork and struggles of public servants.
- the park rangers in “Jirisan” were highlighted heroes with struggles
-As are the police officers in “Live”
- Sung Dong Il is a mentor and captain in both series.

First of all let me say that there is nothing quite like “Revelations.”
- the delusions and apophenia
-the VR-type camera shops that let you know how the character is feeling and what they’re seeing.
- if you want to watch something with similar mood, vibe, and intensity - watch Yeon Sang Ho’s associated works. “Hellbound” and “The Bequeathed” are just 2.
- the detectives in “Revelations” and “Rememory” had a similar guilt complex.
- the 2 are similar in that way

The women figure out what’s wrong with little support.
- strong female lead
- very little support
- against all odds
- they fix it
- I watched these years apart
- but one led me to the other

Similarities: 1) One child out of many feels and takes on the responsibility as the main breadwinner of the family (more so in LYOL).
2) The Rich Family is highly dysfunctional. They have corruption and secrets. The working class family helps them out.
3) people get sick. What do we do? It’s not fair?
4) the responsible sibling reaches a turning point.
Vibes: “OGD” has good friendships. “LYOL” has some mysteries to solve.

Very funny
Lol funny
Some slapstick comedy
Misunderstandings and shenanigans ensue
Also, more recent comedies
More lighthearted than typical dramas

- The FL is a loner. Her fear of social interaction is overcome by the Warm ML.
- Mental Health plays a role in the plot.
- They, also, live “next door” to each other.

Sometimes you should please your inner child and forsake your safe adult side. Very warm story of what that struggle looks like. The family members, neighbors, and side characters are life goals. I think this was the best drama of 2022. I’ve watched it twice.
