In my honest opinion, The Pursuit of Jade was extraordinary. I never gasped, laughed, cry, & aroused from any C drama before like I did to this cinematic perfection. 😍🤩 Though ZLH & TXW were fantastic as the leads, my hat goes off to the entire cast & crew for making every episode a must see jewel.

I love this C drama. Full stop. The acting, production, & story is perfection. The love story, action, & palace intrigue are a slow burn in just the amounts. It belongs in the top 10 of any list. It made me sigh, giggle, & cry. This is how I feel about it, I need no one's approval or critique.

I love Yun Ji-on's acting! I'm sorry he's having personal issues. Though, potentially a dangerous act of insobriety, thankfully, he didn't harm anyone. I hope he can return to acting asap & I wish him well.

I finished watching it this week and I loved it!
SJK was solid in his character and it's a great storyline/script. It's fascinating because here in the US, we don't even get the "real stories" or facts behind our own history.

Jung So-min, an actress I greatly admire, portrayed a character that became increasingly difficult to watch. The constant hiding, avoidance, and deceit towards her family and friends were simply unbearable. While it's understandable that individuals who are ill may wish to spare their loved ones from worry, her actions were excessive. The character seemed to regress, fleeing from a fiancé who supported her, failing to assert herself at work, retreating to her parents' home, missing out on significant opportunities, and deceiving her friends.

OMG! I hate reality shows but the 1st season blew me away! I can't wait to see season 2.

It cracked me up, in season 1, when Det. Moon would call Ye Bun a pervert every time he saw her...to her face. The women's squad and the teacher were great comic relief yet they were very effective at their tasks. Season 2 became more of a really good crime show as well as being funny. Please, give us another season!
